Letter from Our President

BOSC,
Happy Thanksgiving! It is hard
to believe that it is November
already. This year has certainly
flown by. I love November for
many reasons. One of which is
Thanksgiving. It is a special day
or time to give thanks for all we
have in our lives. Among the
many blessings in my life, I am
so thankful to be the BOSC
president. This is a rewarding
experience that I am truly
thankful for. I have gotten to
meet so many wonderful
spouses, people from around
the base, and within the community. It has been such a wonderful opportunity.

Did you get the chance to see

all the different things at the
sign in table when you arrived
at the November social? Membership has new membership
directories available. If you are
a member be sure to pick one
up. There was a sign up sheet
for volunteer opportunities
within the community. Ways
and Means has some fabulous
items each month. The different monthly options seem to
be a hit with membership. Be
sure to check out Ways and
Means next month as well as
what volunteer opportunities
we have coming up.

I know everyone is busy

getting ready for the holiday
season. It is such a fun time of
year. In the hustle and bustle
of the holiday season, lets
remember those who are not
as fortunate as we are. We will
continue our coat and baby
needs drive for the Airmans
Attic through our December
social. If you have extra coats
that your family no longer
wears or baby items that you
no longer use, please bring
them with you to the social.
These will benefit someone
who greatly needs them.

Hope to see you all in DecemDo you volunteer within the

Charity of the Month

Thank you to Stephanie Martin for coming out to speak
with the OSC regarding the

wish to donate.
Also we have our Hap House Party on Friday 12 December and
are still in need of volunteers to help. We will be setting up at
930am and should be done by 1 or 130pm. Please contact Rebecca Denton at charitable.bosc@gmail.com if you would like to
volunteer your time.
Also of note if you would like to purchase a Christmas present
for a member of the Veterans home (i.e. sweatsuit, shirts,
etc) there are tags at Chapel 2.
