Having the two-gene GlyTol LibertyLink trait is one

of the first things that made me even more excited

about FM 1944GLB2. GlyTol LibertyLink was one
of the selling factors for me because I liked having
two herbicide options. This gives you another tool
in your toolbox. It gives you the ability to fight
different conditions and do different processes
across the field.

Stoneville varieties give me the ability to grow the
longer season cottons without using a lot of plant
growth regulator. Stoneville cotton, in the end, gives
me the yield that Im looking for.

VARIETIES

FM 1830GLT had great yields for our area, over

2,000 pounds. The quality was excellent in a short
year 55-cent cotton. Another outstanding benefit
is that it was excellent on Verticillium wilt, which is
starting to become a major problem in our area.

I planted a circle of FM 2334GLT with the new
TwinLink, and we had really good weed control. The
cotton yielded well and made 2,014 pounds to the
acre. I was very pleased with the grades it was
a little over 58 cents in the loan. Thats the highest
loan value we had on the farm that year.

One of the great benefits of FM 2989GLB2 is the
multiple herbicide technology where you can hit
any resistant weeds or hard-to-kill weeds, such as
morningglories, with Liberty instead of glyphosate.
The variety grew well all year. We would plant
more of FM 2989GLB2 due to its good Verticillium
tolerance.
