Brief
This project will allow you to demonstrate, visualise and understand
how the research you have produced for the SCRIPT will be
developed further. It will allow you to further explore the historical
conversation context in a visual form.
This is a group project:
Step 1. Find your working team (4-5 people)
Step 2. Swap your scripts, read them, comment, evaluate
Step 3. Choose with your team which is the best script to work on
(amend if necessary)
Step 4. Develop storyboard
The project will involve you getting in touch further with your
creative side, as you will be required to explore the fictional
conversation between the two historical figures in a film context.
First you will have to translate the script into a visual storyboard,
considering space, frame, time, etc. You will work in a group to
produce a short film. You will have to sign roles to your group
including: performers/ actors, director, costume stylist, editor,
lighting, cameraman, sound editor etc. please refer to moodle for
few links and books on storyboarding.
Think carefully the space/ environment, the costumes and the
peripheral sounds.
Also if you need to use the TV & Studio, you will need to have this
on your plan and well in advance.
TIPS: Be creative, be exploratory, be controversial, be unique, and
be inspiring. Create a film that is professional and NEW.
