THE MOST COMMON DISEASES CAUSED BY THE SCHOOLS

The daily interaction with classmates could result in an exchange of bacteria that can in
danger their health. It's important to considerer this conditions because have
consequences, when a family member gets infected, the family has greater risks to get
sick. Here are the most common diseases that are created in schools.

1. Cold
One of the main reasons for the school absenteeism is this sick. The students
suffer between 6 and 10 colds per year. The first symptoms are nasal congestion
and sneezing. The students colds may also have cough, headache, fever, muscle
aches and fatigue.

2. Sore throat
Most sore throats are caused by virus and usually heal by themselves. It's very
contagious and is spread through the contact with infected people. It's a
contagious bacterial disease that usually occurs with fever, inflammation and
throat pain.

3. Varicella
90% of students suffer this sick before age 14. It's an infectious sick caused by a
virus. It's characterized by the presence of fever and skin rashes. These injuries

disease. It spread from person to person through cough or sneeze.

4. Flu
It's an infection of the nose, the throat and the lungs that spreads easily. Most people
catch the flu when they breathe the cough or the sneeze from someone infected, but also
get it if you touch something with the virus and then you touch your mouth, your eyes or
your nose. The flu spreads easily and can affect a lot of people in very short time. For
example, the students become sick after 2 or 3 weeks of arrival of the flu to a school.
Sometimes the persons confuse colds with flu. Most of the persons suffer a cold several
times each year, but true flu usually once or a twice per year.

5. Stress
As part of the obligations of the students, the school, the professors and classmates, they
demand to the student do actions like answer an quiz, participate in a sport competition,
prepare a speech, etc.
However sometimes the student feel is not ready and like a consequence, gets nervous. In
that moment is where the stress arises.
