Last Supper
Scene I
Large room decorated with rugs, a long table, cake of barley bread baked on hot stones
anointed with olive oil for 13, wooden cups filled with red wine, dried fish, vegetable salad with olives
and olive oil, raisins, candles. Evening. Jesus with 12 disciples is sitting by the table. While looking at
him all of them sense unusual importance of the gathering with Master. After a long warm day,
evening chill is comforting and pleasant. Scent from olives, spices and candles blend with rugs natural
wool.
Christ is looking toward invisible horizon, begins to speak with his deep, peaceful voice:
Jesus:
Today is my last Passover with you, my good and faithful companions.
Christ is holding in his strong, yet, delicate hands, a wooden cup filled with red wine, He
prays with closed eyes, giving thanks to the Almighty.
Jesus:
This is my blood, given for you, my good companions, drink from this cup in memory of me.
In silence, all disciples slowly drink red wine from the wooden cup.
While holding bread in his strong, yet, delicate hands, Christ prays, as He always does, first
giving thanks to His father, Almighty.
Jesus:
This is my body, given for you, take and eat in memory of me.
Silence, 12 disciples, slowly eat cake of barley anointed with olive oil. Body of Christ.
Jesus speaks again. While holding the wooden cup with red wine close to his heart:
Jesus:
Red wine and bread, my blood and body will be the covenant between God Father, Holly
Spirit, Me and you. You, faithful disciples, and all who follow the Son of God, will eat and
drink in memory of me, until the Kingdom of God will reveal its glory.
Disciples whisper to each other. Jesus speaks again:
Jesus:
Disciples, one of you will betray me tonight. Disciple, who betrays the Son of God in this hour,
will be judged terribly, as the man, friend, who betrayed the Son of God.
Jesus leaves the city and is heading to Mount of Olives with three other disciples.
The passage from the village to the Mount of Olives is lit by the Moon. Perhaps his enemies and
accusers won't follow him up there, far from the city, away from the Preparation to Passover. Empty
path, Preparation for Passover, for the High Day. Evening, Passover, Law. Law forbids .
Last Supper
Jesus is giving thanks to His Father.
Last Supper is the beginning of the Eucharist,
the Holy Covenant between Trinity and the people of faith.
Mount of Olives
Scene II
Olive Garden, evening chill. Jesus often comes and prays on the Mount of Olives. Olive trees of
the 12 Tribes of Israel. He prays and meditate about the future, His Father, desciples. Jesus knows,
something terrible is about to happen, yet, His father and Almighty gave man light, awareness, he told
his followers, friends, desciples about betrayal. Scent from trees and fresh air mix with fear and bloody
sweat of Christ:
Jesus:
Father, take away from me this cup, yet, I will follow your will ... .
While praying on the Mount of Olives, crowd of people, among them soldiers and Priests
approached Him, as well as three disciples, who fell asleep while he was meditating. Priests, soldiers,
crowd, torches.
Christ recognizes man, who approached him, this is Judas, on of the twelve disciples. Iscariot is
kissing Jesus on his cheek and quickly leaves Mount of Olives.
Jesus:
Priests, soldiers, people ! You know me well. We crossed our paths in the Temple, everyday, yet,
you didn't arrest me there ! No need for swords and clubs against me.
Once he said that, he is healing wounded soldier's ear, cut by one of his disciples, Peter Simon.
Jesus:
While looking toward the Moon, Christ is speaking:
High Priests commanded guards to lock Christ in dungeon. Once guards put him there he is
being mocked and beaten.
In the morning, Jesus along with guards is brought before the Council of High Priests, Sanhedrin.
10
Jesus:
You said that I am, Jesus replied.
Pilate:
Pilate turned to Priests:
I do not find any guilt in this man. As for taxes, I know he is not challenging the law of Rome.
Priests:
This Galilean is trying to start the riot against Rome, crowd of Priests are shouting with anger.
Pilate:
If this man is the Galilean, than take him to the Court of the Herod who is in town. Herod is
from the Galilee.

Priests and Jesus are back at Pontius Palace. Pilate is frustrated. Priests still demand from the
governor death sentence.
Pilate sentence Jesus to scourging in the inner courtyard. If Pilate had found Jesus guilty, he
would have sentenced him to death at once.
Jesus is coming out severely bleeding, weakened, exhausted, wearing the crown of thorns and
the royal purple tunica.
Pilate:
- Behold, I bring him out to you, that ye may know that I find no crime in him.
Pilate:
- Behold, the man! Pilate's proposition was to scourge Jesus and let him go, hoping to effect his
release. Presenting Jesus in the state of humiliation, he feels that he has removed him from every
suspicion of royalty. He speaks of Jesus as no longer a king, but a mere man.
Priests:
- Crucify him, crucify him!
Pilate:
Take him yourselves and crucify him. His words are not a permission to crucify, but a bit of
taunting irony, as if he said: "If ye are so much superior to the judge that ye can ignore his decision,
proceed without him; crucify him yourselves."
Priests:
- We have a law, and by that law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God. They had
made no mention of this fact before, yet, Pilate, as the Roman superior authority, was under no
obligation to enforce local law, but the Roman law. They mentioned it now, to justify their true
intention. Pilate heard about it before, he became afraid. His wife had already filled Pilate with fear
and demanded to free Jesus of Nazareth. Pilate's wife, as most wifes of Roman elites, are actively
participating in husband's social, political and even military obligations. The name of Jesus of Nazareth
in well known throughout the land, his name is well known in Pilate's household.
Pilate is taking again Jesus of Nazareth into the Praetorium for another private examination.
15
Jesus is tortured.
Modern science examines scriptures with regard to tortures of Jesus.
The amount of pain and viciousness He had to endure is beyond description and human awareness.
Yet, at this moment, we need to examine true intentions of Christ's tormentors.
By the acts of tormenting his body, they anticipated to undermine His faith and spirit
as well as devotion.
Jesus refuses to drink vinegar mixed with spices (drugs), which would affect his body.
He anticipates more danger from drinking vinegar with drugs, than thirst of the body.
Jesus is maintaining his devotion, Divine and human dignity until He gives away his Spirit,
until His heart breaks apart from injustice.
16
Pilate:
-Whence art thou (where are you from)? Jesus gave him no answer. Silence. His works speak
for him, miracles, teachings, knowledge, as well as knowledge of human nature. We can say, his
knowledge is out of this world. Jesus is silent, yet, words can not describe the amount of truth
everybody is sensing. Jesus proved who he is, yet, facts are disregarded along with all the evidence
and everyday testimonies.
Innocent life is to be defended at all costs and hazards, it doesn't matter if the subject of the
proceding is human or the divine (author).
Pilate:
You do not answer ? Be aware, I have the power to release thee, and have the power to
crucify thee?
Jesus:
Jesus remains silent.
Judges must hear and give sentence according to truth, uninfluenced by good will or favor
(author).
17
18
You, High Priests, claim that the Jesus of Nazareth is misleading the people. I do not find
any guilt in him. Priests ! Herod examined Jesus of Nazareth, he did not find any guilt in
him as well. Jesus does not deserve death.
I want you to choose. According to your law, I will free one prisoner, Jesus or Barabas,
Barabas who was sentenced for murder and stirring the riots.
Pilate:
Crowd:
Spare Barabas. Kill Jesus of Nazareth ! Loud shouting from the crowd.
Despite Pilat's attempts to calm the crowd and set Jesus of Nazareth free, people who gathered
in front of his palace are demanding death sentence.
Crowd:
Crucify him ! Free Barabas !
Pilate:
What are his crimes ?! Pilate asked unsettled crowd for the third time.
Yet, rioting crowd was shouting, demanding crucifixion of Jesus.
Pilate:
I do not find any guilt in Jesus of Nazareth.
19
VI Trial of Jesus
Pilate and High Priests
Scene IX
Crowd:
-
The punishments of God are not vindictive, yet, they are the manifestations of Justice which
express infinitely merciful will, as Jesus himself is proving day after day, even while facing cruelty
and even death. Only God, not man alone, determines the extent of human responsibility, God alone
decides when punishment shall end and that it ends for all, when they repentantly seek Divine
forgiveness, which God eagerly extends to His creation. The New Testament establishes profoundly
important new quality and interactions between Divine and man, and between men (author).
Pilate is releasing Barabas from imprisonment. Man guilty of murder and crime against Roman
authority is about to leave dungeon and certain death.
Jesus is delivered up to their will. Roman soldiers are instructed to carry out the sentence. While
joyous Barabas is freed, scourged and weakened Jesus is immediatelly being prepared for death. Yet,
death is not enough, prior to death he must endure impossible to imagine tortures, violation of dignity.
In this scene we experience disturbing blood thirst. Thirst for blood, thirst to inflict suffering on
man is out of this world, and certainly does not belong to Divine vision of the world. He is sentenced
to death, yet, he is sentenced to suffer for long hours before he dies. Why?
This is a real trial of Jesus. During scourging and tortures, he ought to deny himself, his father,
his faith, otherwise He would be killed in a matter of seconds.
Jesus, while facing incredible tortures and pain do not deny any of his claims. Yet, by the act of
scourging, tormentors became the subject of self incrimination on many grounds: Divine, social, Jewish
Law, Roman Law.
Let's imagine, that you are in similar position, surrounded by violence, experiencing tortures,
pain.

Having said that, he is bowing his head, and giving up his spirit.
None of the Evangelists speaks of Jesus as dying: for he yielded up his spirit voluntarily (author).
3 O'clock
At three, Jesus of Nazareth dies on the cross. Sky is weeping. First drop of water touches his
face, and the next, and the next. Heavenly Father is washing his only son from the dust of sins which
cover his innocent son's body. Tear is flowing from Christ face.
Roman soldier is tired of exhausting scourging as well as strength of crucified Jesus.
Legionnaire is taking spear into his strong and agile hands. Spear raptures lungs and heart of Jesus.
Water and blood flows from tormented body, another sign of inhumane abuse he had to endure.
Jesus heart, as modern science is proving, is raptured, broke apart from pain and injustice before
Roman soldier's spear submerged in Divine body.
The most excruciating pain is the pain of injustice (author).

X Trial of Jesus
Scene XIV
Jesus was acquitted during trials, except the trial by the High Council. Let's examine entire
sequence and put entire scheme to test. From written descriptions, we can assume and bring to the light
chain of events which led Jesus of Nazareth to crucifixion, death and resurrection:
1. Jesus of Nazareth performs miracles (the list of Jesus miracles is also included). Jesus heals
thousands of people from all spectrums of the society. He travels extensively. Jesus of Nazareth
brings to life dead people. Jesus is calming forces of nature, fills nets with fish, fills empty
baskets with fresh bread and jars with wine. He teaches profoundly appealing lessons, such as
love, compassion, tolerance, forgiveness.
2. All accusations made by the Sanhedrin are false. His life and extensive social activity is in
sharp contrast with accusations.
3. Jesus of Nazareth was not captured in the Temple, where he spent most of his time among
people he loves, yet, he was captured on Mount of Olives away from the public view. This act
was carefully planned, executed and hidden from the public.
4. Jesus was captured after dawn, just before the Preparation for the High Day, which is unusual.
5. Jesus of Nazareth is captured and put to prison before and during preparation to Passover.
6. Jesus of Nazareth is accused of misleading the people (false).
7. Jesus of Nazareth is accused of denying taxes to the Emperor (false).
8. Jesus of Nazareth is accused of misleading people toward riots (false).
9. Jesus of Nazareth is accused of being the King of Jews. Jesus carries the royal blood. He does
not answer. By silence he is avoiding selfincrimination.
10. Jesus of Nazareth is accused of being the Messiah. Jesus is silent, knowing Roman and Jewish
laws, he is avoiding selfincrimination. Yet, miracles speak with its own voice on his behalf to
present day.
Jesus did everything in his power to avoid conflict with High Priests,
Roman law and death sentence.
29
30
Crowd
Scene XV
Jesus of Nazareth was captured away from the public view, after dawn, and during Preparation
to Passover. Certainly, High Council was in control of every aspect of His trial, including crowd,
which loudly demanded the death sentence.
31
Mount of Olives
Jesus is captured alone at night and away from the public view.
32
Scene XVI
Defence
Jesus of Nazareth, his trails shows severe compromises in terms of implementation of existing
law. Jesus was denied witnesses, who would provide important facts and subsequently acquittal. On the
other hand, Jesus followers were under immense pressure. Peter three times denied Jesus. This
situation provides clue, how tense situation became, especially from the Hight Priests circle.
33
34
Jesus of Nazareth is fulfilling every word, teachings and claim he made, before and during
trials, tortures, on the way to Golgotha, death on the cross, resurrection on the third day, devotion
toward Father and men, and finally the ascension to heaven in front of witnesses.
There is no evidence, which would contradict fulfillment of his predictions, teachings,
promises. Modern science (medical examiners) is proving about viciousness and extensive damage
inflicted on his body. Yet, his attitude do not change while facing such cruel and deadly treatment.
It is believed that Jesus gave away his spirit, yet, his heart
raptured from immense pain and injustice.
Jesus is speaking from the cross. His last words.:
Father, in your hands, in your hands I place my spirit.
Profoundly beautiful words, profoundly uplifting.
Profoundly pure attitude, profundly humble ... .
35
Sentence
Scene XVIII
36
Crucifixion: state penalty for violating Roman Law. Jesus did not violate Roman Law.
Caiaphas (a relative of Annas ) and Pontius Pilate. Both were removed from posts by Vitellius
Syrian Governor because of bribery and cruelty. Caiaphas was serving as a liaison between
Jews and Roman authority. In this instance he misrepresented Jesus in front of Roman
authority. Pilate was sent to southern France, Viennae. We don't know what happened with
Caiaphas.
Jesus could have advocates who would argue his case by means of witnesses, facts
Roman governor would only become involved in cases involving treason or otherwise
concerning the order of the empire. Jesus is not a threat to the Empire, rule of law, taxation
In subsequent development of the Roman Law (after the Crucifixion), criminal cases were
decided by jurors ( panel of 50-75 men)
In subsequent development of the Roman Law (after the Crucifixion) majority votes determined
the verdict after the defense challenged and cross-examination of the witnesses
Admission of the crime by Sanhedrin: and the chief priest took the pieces of silver, and said, it
is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood Treasury was a public
money and was considered as the Lord's money. Priests spent money, yet, in this case, they
could not put it back into the Lords money ! Strange admission, indeed, if the money given to
Judas were properly expended for the arrest of a real criminal, it would be considered as justice
money and not blood money. Priests bought with them so called the potter's field, to bury
strangers (the foreigners who died in Jerusalem, whether rich or poor, they were not wanted in
Jewish graveyards).
Jesus vs Pilate: and he gave him no answer, not even to one word. Pilate was irritated that
Jesus did not speak in his own defense. He had already seen enough of Lord's wisdom to assure
him that it would be an easy matter for him to expose the malicious emptiness and false
charges, charges which Pilate himself knew to be false. Jesus did not answer because being its
own advocate would undermine and frustrate Roman (autocratic) and Sanhedrin authority as
well.
During the trail Sanhedrin presented verbal accusations, yet, not allowing citizen testimonies
Pilate: I find no fault in this man, him. Pontius Pilate repeatedly cleared Jesus of Nazareth of
any guilt or crime, yet, at the end, sentencing Jesus to be crucified (state penalty under the
Roman law for crime against the Ceaser and Rome), is proving that governor was under
immense pressure to sentence Christ to death. In this instance Pontius Pilate applied Roman
Law inaccurately, at the same time, he did not follow his own wife's council, prior to trial, who
requested to free Jesus
Admonition of Jesus innocence by Jewish authorities. The Jews therefore, because it was the
Preparation, that the bodies should not remain on the cross upon the sabbath (for the day of that
sabbath was a high day). If local authorities would feel that Jesus was guilty of crime, he would
remain on the cross, his body would be disrespected further for the eternal condemnation. Yet,
their request and burial ceremony indicate that Jesus of Nazareth was falsely accused and
wrongly sentenced.

Resurrection
Pilate said unto them, Ye have a guard
So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone
43
Same as in the ancient times, human is trained to inflict pain on another man.
From primitive methods to sophisticated, human race is perfecting ways to bring pain upon
man's body and soul. Killing is not enough, pain, suffering, extending agony, disrespect,
violation of dignity, killing is not enough. Cross made by man for another man.
For two thousand years men justifies suffering and death of an innocent man, divine being.
XI Commandment:
Love one another as I love you .
I feel obligated to say, Jesus dwells in subconscience of some people, who accept justification
of his tortures and murder, and bring this notion upon the entire race, which I find disturbing.
Jesus was killed, but before he gave His spirit away to the Father he became subject of tortures.

She is in a state of denial. Mary sees little Jesus playing in front of Joseph's workshop.

She still feels his little body while breastfeeding.
She sees Jesus, tall, strong, surrounded by miraculous energy.
She sees, now shouting from judges chamber interrupted her vision.
She sees... .

Every man shall define its faith, more importantly, an attitude toward justice and
injustice. We shall not hide behind scriptures, yet, man has the light to recognize good vs evil.
Sequence dwell still, initiated by our forefathers.
What light says to you while looking at tormented life.
Light is saying, sin, tortures, death of innocence.
That's what light is saying in every heart and mind.
Follow the light, proclaim innocence of Jesus in your heart and mind, yet, share the light
with others, so they will recognize you by fruits of your heart and mind... .
