Parallel Sentences: In grammar,  parallelism  is  a  balance  of  two  or  more  similar  words,  phrases,  or  
clauses.

• Parallel:  She  likes  cooking,  jogging,  and  reading.
• Lacking  parallelism:  Benjamin  ran  across  the  yard,  jumped  over  the  fence,  and  down  the  alley  he  
sprinted.
