TEACHING EXPERIENCE
East Longmeadow High School: East Longmeadow, MA
Teaching the curriculum of a cooperating teacher at the school.
Observing and reflecting on a high school teacher.
Writing unit and lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
60+ hours of teaching and assisting a teacher.
Designed a sport education model curriculum.
Birchland Park Middle School: East Longmeadow, MA
Wrote and taught lesson plans for volleyball and soccer units.
Progressed student skills through various stations aligned with MA-CF and NASPE
standards.
Designed different assessment methods for students.
Mary Lynch Elementary: Springfield, MA
Used a video camera to self asses and reflect on my teaching.
Taught mixed age groups of elementary level students.
Adapted lessons to accommodate a student in a standing wheelchair.
Glickman Elementary:
Worked with intellectually disabled students in a limited space environment.
Studied the IDEA disabilities while designing lessons to best suit the students.
Zanetti Montessori Elementary School:
Practiced teaching through divergent styles and exploratory learning.
Designed and implemented motivational tasks and objectives for students.
Trinity Nursery School & Kindergarten:
Assessed and progressed students abilities in throwing and catching.
Worked with a co-teacher on a final video observation lesson.
