RULING NUMBERS
Your ruling number is found by adding your birthday, month and year together e.g. 27.6.1953 =
2+7+6+1+9+5+3= 33 reduce 3+3= ruling number 6.
The ruling number influences the general trends of your chart.
There is no ruling number 1. Ruling numbers are 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,22/4
The ruling number dominates and has influence on all other numbers and combinations in your chart.
Ruling 2= sensitive, unassuming, supportive, reliable, peacemaking, compassionate and artistic.
Distinctive qualities - being able to merge your ego with that of others when necessary.
Negative tendencies - ignoring intuition
Jobs suited to your ruling number - personal assistant, charity worker, working in education, artist,
group musician, group singer, group dancer, diplomat, social worker, secretary and factory worker.
Ruling 3= entertainer, planner, life of the party, alert mind, thinker, intelligent sense of humour, marriage difficulties.

do and when. Can be nervous and uncertain when confined to the working world, leading to irritability, stress and depression.

Ruling 6= The ruling number of Extremes. Potential for great creative power if living positively, but
an incessant worrier if living negatively. Creative, caring, just, unselfish, tolerant and home loving, but
inclined toward deep worry and extreme anxiety.

Isolated numbers = Numbers that have no other number next to them.
Number 1 = Communication - the expression of the physical body in terms of its relationship to the
outside world.
Isolated 1s = often feeling isolated and misunderstood when explaining personal feelings to others Biased towards the mind plane (3,6,9) = so much going on in the head that it doesnt get translated
into practical expression, which can give the appearance of laziness or promising to do things that
rarely get done can give the appearance of unreliability both of which can cause more isolation leading to loneliness.
1 = Self and ego, how it is expressed or suppressed. Potential difficulty in communicating your feelings to others.
You may assume that other people know what you are feeling without being told and this can lead to
misunderstandings.
2 x 1s = Balanced self-expression, and the potential for easy expression of feelings. Able to see both
sides of an argument or situation and be able to switch sides part way through if the other side suddenly seems more valid.
3 x 1s = Very chatty or very shy, or both at the same time.
4 x 1s = May have great difficulty in expressing emotions and communicating with others. You learn to
suppress emotional turmoil with a smile, but you need to take control of your emotions and relax
more. You may require quiet times alone, which is often misunderstood by others.
5 x 1s + = Great difficulty in communicating feelings. There may be great suppression of self which
increases this difficulty. You may have lots of mirrors in the home (often covered lest others think you
egotistical) as appearance is very important.
Combinations (Arrows)
Birth Charts with no arrows = A lack of arrows does not signify any special attribute. But it does
mean you will have to persevere to develop strengths. Generally adaptable you find it easy to fit into
