SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Adam Scott has been contacted by about 100 caddies offering their services but the world
number two is in no hurry to appoint a replacement for Steve Williams.
Scotts bag is probably the second most coveted behind world number one Rory McIlroy. The job became available
when Williams, who previously worked for Tiger Woods, decided he wanted to cut back on the number of
tournaments he caddied in, which did not fit with Scott's requirements.
Scott sounded surprised that some of the caddies wanting to work for him are currently employed by other successful
players, but that only speaks volumes for the coveted nature of the job working for the 34-year-old Australian.
If the 2013 Masters champion maintains his form of the past couple of seasons, his new caddie can expect to make at
least $500,000 next year.
Ive had some really cracking (offers) come through, which makes you wonder, Scott told Reuters at Sheshan Golf
Club on Tuesday as he prepared for this week's WGC-HSBC Champions tournament.
He used Eddie Gardino at the Japan Open last month and will employ David Clark in Shanghai this week and at the
Australian Masters in Melbourne later this month.
However, he says he plans to trial several other caddies over the next few months before settling on a full-time
replacement before the Masters rolls around in April next year.
Scott says he is seeking someone whose personality he gels with and who has the knack of giving good advice under
pressure.
Im testing personalities. Thats why I need a little more time to make a good decision, he said.
You can be the best player and do all the right things, but there is only one other person who can influence you on the
golf course and that is the caddie.
Whatever he says, whatever comes out of his mouth or doesnt come out of his mouth can influence you, so its an
extremely important role when you play at this level.
Scott is the highest-ranked player in the WGC-HSBC field in the absence of McIlroy, who has pulled out to focus on
his legal battle with his previous management company.

Former PBA Most Valuable Player Arwind Santos released his first single entitled "Bagyo," a day
before his San Miguel Beermen defeated the Barako Bull Energy to stay undefeated in the 2014 PBA

Philippine Cup.
"Bagyo" is the first of 12 songs written and performed by Santos. He dedicated the entire album to
victims of the recent catastrophes in the Philippines.
The video opened with clips of typhoons, the practice of the San Miguel Beermen, and Santos
recording the song.
The tail of the video also featured showbiz personalities Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Billy Crawford,
Jong Hilario, and Vhong Navarro.
Aside from basketball, Arwind loves to write songs during his free time. His first single, Bagyo was
inspired by the series of typhoons in the Philippines this year. He tried helping affected families all
over the country in his own small ways, said the statement written by Melmac Sports Management,
the owner of the MTV.
Santos received support from teammate Doug Kramer who also appeared on the video.

Lyoto Machida: 'We should respect Conor

McGregor'
It's fair to say that Conor McGregor isn't most Brazilian MMA fans' favorite fighter. The Irishman
has insulted Brazilian and featherweight world champion Jose Aldo, as well as antagonized fans
themselves during a recent Q & A session in Brazil (above).
There is at least one Brazilian UFC star that doesn't mind McGregor's hype and trash talk, however Lyoto Machida. The former light heavyweight champ and current middleweight contender said in
arecent interview that he understands why McGregor behaves the way he does.
"He can promote himself the way he wants. I dont see [McGregor] as a bad person," Machida
toldGuilherme Cruz.
"Hes right, hes promoting himself this way, and we have to respect him."
That isn't to say that Machida thinks McGregor has a great chance of beating Jose Aldo, should they
meet, however. If youre going to compare him to Jose Aldo, Aldo is technically better," Machida
explained.
[McGregor] is a tough fighter, hes coming out strong, but you cant say he beats Aldo. Aldo is too
dominant."

Are you able to separate an arrogant fighter's bluster from his skills as an athlete, the way Machida
seems to? Let us know in the comments section!

Forget Pirlo and Vidal - the new Juventus must be

built around Pogba
He sat on the Manchester United bench 17 times, never started, and left the club on a free transfer
having played a total of 225 minutes of first-team action. Then 19, Paul Pogbas departure for
Juventus was a statement of ambition. He was worth more than he had been afforded by Sir Alex
Ferguson and he knew it.
Two-and-a-half years on, Pogba is set to make his 100th appearance for Juve in Tuesdays crunch
Champions League fixture against Olympiakos. Coming shortly after he signed a new five-year deal
with the champions of Italy, it further underlines a magnificent turnaround in the Frenchmans
career.
Undervalued and underused by a club now in dire need of an injection of power and creativity in
midfield, he has since made himself indispensable to a Juve side for whom he seemed to be arriving
as a back-up. But an engine room which had been lauded for its impact in 2011-12 was quickly
improved further by Pogba, who took no time at all to push Claudio Marchisio out of the side.
He developed magnificently alongside the experience of Andrea Pirlo and the excellence of Arturo
Vidal, but two years on he has now seemingly surpassed both. While the Italian dips in and out of
form in the latter stages of his glittering career, the Chilean has struggled to hit the ground running
this season due to injuries and off-field issues.

Meanwhile, Pogba is thriving. After collecting the prestigious Golden Boy award in 2013 for Europe's
top under-21 star, he this summer added the title of the World Cups best young player. The same
performances which saw him receive individual acclaim also led to rumours that Manchester United
were keen to spend large sums of money to take him back to Old Trafford. Other big-name clubs
such as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also followed him closely.
But Juventus had, naturally, been watching closer than anyone else and agreed to triple his wages in
order to tie him to the club for another half-decade. It was due reward for his dazzling displays thus
far.
Yet he looks set to get even better in the future, with countryman ZinedineZidane suggesting that he
may become one of the best players in football history.
What Paul is doing at the age of 21 is huge, Zidane told L'Equipe recently.

Maybe we are talking about Pogba a bit too much, but if he can keep up his current development he
can become one of the best players ever.
The 1998 Ballon dOr winner and three-time Fifa World Player of the Year insists Pogba has the
qualities to be a true all-round star.

For me, he is a combination of Claude Makelele and Patrick Vieira. If I were his coach, I would use
him in a slightly more advanced role.
He has to keep it simple every now and then in order to become more efficient. That way he can
develop from a good midfielder into a top player.
With the right guidance, Pogba appears ready to become whatever he wants to be. Just as he backed
himself to leave Manchester United and prosper elsewhere, he can become a true footballing
superstar if he puts his mind to it.
He is 99 games into his Juventus career and is already mature and developed enough for the team to
be built around him.
Not bad for a player who was a perennial bench-warmer at Old Trafford less than three years ago.
