Summa Group & China to Build Logistics Center

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met on 13th
October 2014 where they were able to come to a number of intergovernmental and
corporate agreements. One of the latest developments will be the building of a logistics
centre in China which calls for construction in the border town of Hunchun. The purpose of
the logistics centre is to help facilitate the flow of cargo from the Big Port Zarubino in the
Primorsky Territory. This will speed up transhipment in the seaport and improve the
logistics of the service as a whole.
The Chinese railroad and the Russian railway both run to
Hunchun, which will also help with logistics. The project will
integrate the 40m ton grain terminal, 2m-TEU container
terminal, Ro/Ro Terminal for 1.5m units of rolling cargo a year
and a general cargo terminal. The ports total capacity will reach
60m tons and will become one of Russias largest universal
ports. The president of Summa Group, Vladimir Kayashev, and
