2-5-1 Jazz Scale Exercises

basic voicing and scale practice from "Scot Ranney's Jazz Piano Notebook, Volume 1"
This exercise goes through two different 2-5-1 voicings for the left hand. Even though the chords are 9th and 13th chords, they are treated
and written as 7th chords. Practice this slowly at first with the metronome. Mistakes: don't stop and go back a few notes; that's reinforcing
the mistake. Go back two or three bars and then slow down enough so you can play it mistake free. Treat mistakes like speed bumps, slow
down before you get to them, then speed back up.
