Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the opinions on linking trade across the 3rd Thai
Laos Friendship Bridge (Nakhon Phanom - Khammuan) from Thai entrepreneurs, quantitatively and
qualitatively (in-depth interview), as well as factors in relation thereto. The researchers employed
questionnaires to collect quantitative data from 257 samples and conducted in-depth interviews with 6
samples to gather qualitative data, and analyzed the data with statistical tools; percentage, mean,
standard deviation, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple classification analysis (MCA) with level of
significance set at .05.
The outcome indicated that the opinions on linking trade across the 3rd Thai Laos
Friendship Bridge (Nakhon Phanom - Khammuan) of Thai entrepreneurs were at a moderate level;
impacts on their income and employment are greater than other aspects. Personal factors, i.e.,
gender, age, level of education, type of business, and income therefrom, were irrelevant.
