Abstract
The purposed of this research is to study on the satisfaction in the performance of the National
Statistical Officer at the Ministry of Communication and Technology. Objective 1) to study level of
satisfaction in the performance of the National Statistical Officer at the Ministry of Communication and
Technology, and 2) to compare the satisfaction of the performance of the National Statistical Officer at
Ministry of Communication and Technology classified by the variables of gender, age, education and
period of work. The population used in this study was the National Statistical Officer at the Ministry of
Communication and Technology.The data collection was a questionnaire with open and closed-ended
questions. The query returned all the 209 series. Data collected through the statistical packages for
statistical analysis by using the data frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One - way
ANOVA. The research revealed that the officer of the National Statistical Office at the Ministry of
Communication and Technology are satisfied with their work in overall level. When considering
separately, the research result shown that the major satisfaction is their responsibility following with their
interaction with colleagues and superiors, work succession, work progress, policy, work environment and
the last in the rank is the compensation and benefits. The officer of the National Statistical Office at the
Ministry of Communication and Technology with different sex, age, education and period of work have no
different in their work satisfaction.
