The Key Resource Person

Md. Musharrof Hossain is the leading HR professional and renowned

trainer of the country who is the recipient of Global HR Leadership
Award from the Asia Pacific HRM Congress in 2008. He has
completed his Master in Continuous Education degree from the
University of Calgary, Canada. Currently, he is working as the Head,
Human Resources Management, icddr,b. Prior to joining with icddr,b,
he also worked as the Human Resources Manager of CAREInternational and Director, Human Resources of Palli Daridro Bimochon
Foundation respectively.
Mr. Hossain is the President of the Bangladesh Society for Human
Resources Management (BSHRM). He also served as the Founder
General Secretary since inception of BSHRM in 2001. He is the
Member of the different HR professionals bodies in the world. He is
the Board Member of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resources
Management (APFHRM) which is the apex body of the World
Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA).
Mr. Hossain is also the Adjunct Professor of the MBA program of few
leading private universities in Bangladesh as well as Royal Roads
University, Canada, Dhaka Campus. He regularly delivers lecture in
different national and international seminars on human resources. Mr.
Hossain has traveled to over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and
North America for study, job, attending and delivering lectures in
numerous national/international conferences/workshops. He regularly
participates in Talk Show on emerging Human Resources
Management and Development related issues in different television
channels in Bangladesh.
