FLOW
Screen Concept
The Flow Screen is a big play tool that gives us a chance to rip off big
chunks of yardage when defenses overreact! They are known as Flow
Screens because we work hard to create defensive flow in one
direction by creating the look of a particular play (run, pass, screen, or
bootleg), then throwing back behind a wall of blockers in the opposite
direction!
The goal is to SEPARATE the frontside of the defense from the backsideMOVE as many defenders
in one direction as possible, then SEAL them off with our receiver and Center, then SEPARATE them
with our guards kick-out block, giving our screener a lane to run through!
We can literally screen to any eligible receiver we have, and we can bring him from anywhere as
long as he gets to the 4 x 4 screen spot. We can also give our flow screens different looks by
marrying
to different run
and pass actions, making them good compliments to our best

BSLB!
Screens can be used on all down & distances, all the way through the Red Zone!
SCREENER does what needs to be done to get lost! Low pad
level!
SCREENER doesnt pop out until his blockers do, presses his
guards block!
TACKLE does a great sell job opening the window and makes
necessary adjustments to protect it!
FRONTSIDE LINEMEN eliminate penetration & buy QB time to
sell the play!
BACKS & RECEIVERS FS/Not in play SELL the play being faked in
every detail!
PULLING G & C take convincing sets, allow penetration, and run
full-speed courses to the HALFWAY RENDEZVOUS with their
EYES!
