NOTIFICATION
Invitation of tenders for Contractors/Agency for supplying and erecting for
Self Supported Galvalume Roofing system for construction of 3000 MT capacity
godown at Gundlupet.
1) e tenders (Two bids) are invited by the Karnataka State Warehousing
Corporation as per Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement Rules 2000
from the reputed firms / agencies satisfying the eligible criteria indicated below
for the work.
2) The validity period of contract will be 18 months. The Contractors/agency should
inspect for supplying & erecting the Self Supported Galvalume Roofing system to
construction of 3000 MT capacity godown at Gundlupet.
3) The scope of work includes furnishing of required for the successful completion
of the work.
4) Prescribed EMD Rs.50,000/- should be paid in on-line while submitted the
Tender in favour of Managing Director, KSWC, Bangalore.
5) SEQUENCE OF EVENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

a)

Last date for receipt of Tenders

25-08-2014 Upto 4.30 PM.

b)

Opening of Technical Bids:

27-08-2014 at 4.30 PM or any

other suitable time and date that
will be intimated in advance.

Opening of Financial Bids:

30-08-2014 at 4.30 PM or any

other suitable time and date that
will be intimated in advance.

(It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a holiday,
the next working day will hold good in lieu of the above mentioned dates)

-2TENDER CONDITIONS:

1) Eligible criteria:
TO QUALIFY FOR BIDDING THIS CONTRACT
a) The Contractor/Agency should have satisfactorily carried out a similar nature of

work independently for supplying & erecting the Self Supported Galvalume
Roofing system at constructed godown at Gundlupet.
b) The eligible Contractor/Agency should possess the work done certificate signed
by the Officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer to the extent of two
times of the total cost of the work in one recent financial years.
c) Joint venture participation will not be entertained.
2) Prospective consultants / agencies should submit their offer in two bids viz.,
a) Technical bid
b) Financial bid
3) Technical bid shall contain the following details:
a. Profile of the contractor / agency and list of similar nature of works should be
carried out. Specially Govt./PSU/Private Institutions work done are to be
specified.
b. Registration or empanelment with Government, Govt. of India Undertakings/
State Govt. undertakings.
c. Service Tax Registration.
4) Financial bid shall contain the rates.
5) Mode of payment:
The schedule of payment is as follows:
a) 100% on successful completion of the whole project after III Party inspection.
6) Any delay caused by the Contractors / agency in supplying & erecting the
Self Supported Galvalume Roofing system at the construction of 3000 MT
capacity godown at Gundlupet after the receipt of work order should be
supplied and erect them within 30 days of time period, failing which penalty
will be imposed as to the actual rent of the godown per month for every
month of delay.
7) The Managing Director reserves the right to accept or reject the tender without
assigning any reason whatsoever for such rejection.

SHORT TERM E PROCUREMENT NOTIFICATION

The Managing Director, Karnataka State Warehousing Corporation, Bangalore

has invited e-Procurement from the Registered Contractor/Agencies and they may submit
Tenders for supplying and erecting for Self Supported Galvalume Roofing system to
construction of 3000 MT capacity godown at Gundlupet.

website. The EMD and Tender processing charges is to be furnished on line while
submitting tenders. The last date for receipt of e-Procurement is on 25-08-2014
upto 4.30 PM. The opening of Technical Bid is on 27-08-2014 at 4.30 PM.
