HAGGAI INSTITUTE SEMINAR PREPARATION

Introduction

The Haggai Institute is focused on equipping Christian leaders to effectively evangelize

their own people and train others to do the same . The Institute is geared to impart
Leadership skills to Christian leaders in our country so that they will be witnesses for our
Lord Jesus Christ through their work and life, to bring many into His kingdom.
Length of the Seminar

A seminar needs to be for 5 full days.

PARTICIPANTS PROILE –

1. Should have a genuine commitment to Christ.

2. Should be actively involved in evangelism and soul winning in particular.
3. Should be real leader, with a suitable blend of aggression and charm,
firmness and gentleness.
4. Should get on well with others.
5. The age of the participants should be between 25-60yrs.

Curriculum

A maximum 4 subjects will be selected from following list.

Biblical Basis for missions Goal Setting Team building

Effective Communication for Evangelism Leadership
Stewardship of Resources Integrity of a Christian Leader
Christian Family life Personal Evangelism
Child Evangelism Christian counseling

Out of above subjects Biblical Basis for missions and Integrity of a Christian Leader
are the core subject which are compulsory.

Number of periods

Each day 6 teaching periods will be their of 1hr 15 min. beside the half hour of devotion.

Physical Arrangements

In the Haggai Institute seminar , a fairly good physical arrangement is provided for the
participants The purpose , behind this, is that the participants must be well rested and
comfortable in order to assimilate the teaching to the maximum.
The seminar room is the place where the participants will spend most of their time
hence following things to be carefully arranged.
Seminar Hall - The ventilation of hall must be adequately comfortable for
participants.
Seating arrangement - U shaped conference table layout or class room styles seating
with writing tables.
Equipments - OHP, White/Black board which pens and chalks, table bell,
cordless mike, TV/VCR(if required.)
Musical instrument - Song books or Chorused on transparencies accompanied by a
musical instrument will be helpful.

Food Arrangements

The food may be simple but nourishing with one meal of non-vegetarian.

Lodging for Participants

Rooms should be twin-sharing basis, attached bathrooms would be preferred.

Women and Men participants should be allotted different wings or different floors in the
lodging facility. If possible couples should be allowed to stay together.

Lodging for faculty

Faculty should be provided with single room with attached bathroom wherever
possible. To have better interaction between faculty and participants , faculty should be
provided room in same premises.

Budget for each seminar need to prepared in following manner.

Institutional/Church seminar

The Institute conducts intensive Leadership seminars for Christian Institutes/Churches at

their premises. These seminars are aimed at transforming the lives of individuals so that
they work with a Christian ethos and be vitally involved in the growth of their
Institute/Church, leading others to Christ. This seminar is for 3 full days of 15 teaching
hrs. Separate budget is prepared for such seminar which includes Faculty travel,
honorarium, Lodging & board ,Stationary cost, HI contribution, misl. Etc.
