The history of Eatons Beach Sandbar and Grill has


evolved over the past 90 plus years. In 1924, Jersey
Champion Cyclist Jay Eaton, fell in love with Lake Weir
while vacationing and longed to create a lake-front spot
for families to enjoy. Over time, the Houser and Enos
families also became owners and were instrumental in
the history of the restaurant. The murals on the walls
are from actual photos taken at Eatons Beach in the
1920s and 1930s. Many memories have taken place
here and we look forward to being a part of a new
generation of memories. Our mission statement is To
BE the Favorite of the People We Serve.
