For all Christians and Jews the bible holds a very revered place since it is the Divine
Word of God. Like all Holy Scriptures it is one of the most misinterpreted books ever
written, therefore, it is difficult to understand and imbibe its theology and philosophy
to help society evolve through its high principles with the correct interpretation. An
academic application, consequently, is the need of the hour and the in depth study of
the Jewish and Christian scriptures become crucial. Subjects that are included in
biblical studies are many which are theology, homiletics and apologetics, biblical
history and biblical mission along with a host of many others that lend a higher
religious strength to character.
