The company MOBIAK SA after several months and systematic efforts proceeded to the design of
three (3) different Permanent Local Application Extinguishing Systems for Kitchen Use, so that the
end user (owner of the kitchen) can choose the system which is the ideal solution for the workplace.
In this point it should be noted that all three (3) systems are accepted by the Fire Brigade Offices
in all counties throughout the Greek territory and the Suppression Agent used F-Class Solution is
approved by the Fire Brigade Headquarters.

System ()
In this type of System, in automatic operation,
thermal sensitive fusible detectors in row are
used for detecting fire . The Suppression Agent
is been distributed over the protected areasappliances and inside the exhaust funnel
through an ISO Copper Piping and Special
Type Discharge Nozzles.
Incase the system consists of more than
one Local Application Fire Extinguishers,
the operation of each extinguisher is been
achieved using a fuse-detonator. In both
automatic and manual activation, the system
can be programmed to shut off the electrical
power and the gas-propane supply in all or
in selected devices for maximum protection
against re-ignition.

FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM (B) F-CLASS SOLUTION / WET CHEMICAL

System ()
The main characteristic of System (B) is the
lack of Fire Detection Panel. In this case,
the detection is not affected by temperaturesensitive eutectic links but special type
sprinklers. In System (A) the release of the
extinguishing agent takes place from the
same tubing in both automatic and manual
operation, while in System (B) there are 2
separate branches the first one which leads the
extinguishing agent to special type sprinklers
during automatic operation and the second one
leads the extinguishing agent to special type
discharge nozzles during manual operation.
Automatic Operation
In this case, the network branch of automatic
system operation should be pressed by
Nitrogen gas at 18Bar so that the pressure in
this branch is greater than the pressure inside
the fire extinguisher that is 15bar. In this way,
the extinguishing agent always remains inside
the fire extinguisher because the pressure of
the propellant gas inside the fire extinguisher
is smaller than the branch pressure. In case of
fire, the temperature-sensitive glass ampoule
of any sprinkler breaks and the pressure
inside the automatic operation network
branch is been dropped gradually. When
the pressure of the branch becomes smaller
than 15Bar, the pressure of the propellant gas
inside the extinguisher will be able to lead the
extinguishing agent from the fire extinguisher
to the special type sprinklers from where the
agent will be discharged.
In System (B), the shut down of a) electricity
and b) LPG-Propane is been done through
a pressure switch. The pressure switch is

been installed at any point on the automatic
operation network branch and it is programmed
to operate at 14Bar. The pressure switch is
been connected to a power relay that is placed
inside the electrical panel of the kitchen so that
in case of fire, when the switch gets activated,
it activates the power relay that shuts down the
electrical power and the LPG-Propane supply
to the kitchen selected appliances/devices.
CERTIFIED
Manual Operation
In this case, the manual operation network
branch is not pressed by Nitrogen gas. The
release of the extinguishing agent is been
done simply by opening the ball-valve (right
one). This valve is always closed and only in
case manual system activation it should be
opened completely so that the extinguishing
agent can be released and lead to the special
type discharge nozzles from where it will be
discharged.
The interruption of the power supply and LPGPropane is been done through the pressure
switch that is installed on the automatic
operation network branch. In case of manual
system operation, when the extinguishing agent
is been released, the pressure inside the fire
extinguisher droops gradually. This pressure
drop affects the pressure (18Bar) inside the
automatic operation network branch which
in turn drops gradually. This pressure drop
activates the pressure switch which activates
the power relay inside the kitchens electrical
panel. As in automatic operation, the power
relay shuts down the electrical power and the
LPG-Propane supply to the kitchen selected
appliances/devices.

Forestry Hose
UCT
Forestry fire hose is a lightweight single jacket 100% spun polyester hose lined with TPU elastomer.
The optional Wisentec treatment greatly increases abrasion, heat, and flame resistance while virtually
eliminating water pick-up. When used, HBY forestry fire hose is protected from mildew and no drying
is required. Its tightly woven cover is specially treated for enhanced durability, reduced friction when
dragging, and resistance to ozone, weathering, mildew, aging, and regular abrasion. Its PU tube
provides much better resistance to punctures, mildew, petroleum, solvents, and aging as compared
to conventional rubber fire hoses - and it is only a fraction of the weight and is much more compact.
A stripe of a contrasting color running the full length of the hose can be woven into the jacket. This
meets NFPA recommendations for pump panel identification Forestry fire fighting, standby forestry
fire protection. Due to its light duty characteristics, we do NOT recommend this hose be used for
washdown or in construction, rental, plant, or mill service.

Durable Hose-DUZ is a 3-ply nitrile rubber municipal fire hose with both the cover and liner extruded
independently and double vulcanized along with high tensile strength polyester reinforcement for
maximum durability and flexibility. Ribbed Nitrile rubber cover greatly increases abrasion resistance,
provides long service life and the tightly woven reinforcement resists puncture. Smooth liner keeps
friction loss to a minimum and is the best-in-kind. Hose remains flexible to temperatures as low
as -5F (-20C) and is resistant to ozone, oxidation, and most chemicals or petroleum products.
Different nitrile/PVC blend ratio results in different applications. Durable Hose-DUZ is manufactured
in accordance with BS6391 standard,

Carbon Dioxide constitutes a colourless, odorless and inert gas.

During usage, no damage is provoked (contrary to water or dry powder, the use of
which can cause important damage to equipment), it is a safe agent for the majority
of materials, non - hazardous for food, non - corrosive and non - conductive.
It evaporates completely in a few seconds after the extinguishing procedure and
leaves no traces. Consequently, it can be used with no risk to various spaces
containing electrical and electronic devises, precious artworks, paintings or
manuscripts, or to flammable liquid warehouses, electric substations, kilns and
ovens.
The use of CO2 must be avoided to spaces where humans or animals are, because
of its provoking suffocating conditions.
The three - dimension use of CO2 means that it can extinguish fires in vertical and
horizontal direction. Its fast diffusion constitutes the key to a successful
extinguishment, since it can penetrate through a break on a wall to all secret and
remote places regardless of the obstacles that may exist.
Carbon Dioxide constitutes a stable commercial product with many other
applications and it is widely used all over the world. Permanent CO2 Systems
can be automatically or manually activated, while the activation can be effected
mechanically and pneumatically or electronically or from another combination of
the above depending on existing conditions.
Carbon Dioxide is stored in normal temperature conditions in steel cylinders.
Pressure changes depending on the temperature and at 21oC , it is about 59bar.
Multiple Cylinder Batteries can be applied to the specific areas that we wish to
protect from a fire.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
A Common System Consists of:
Steel High Pressure Cylinders, seamless and of various capacities, electro statically
painted in red colour with grey neck. Cylinders are certified according 99/36/EC and
EN 1964-1 () .
System Valves pneumatically - manually activated with pottential use of a fuse.
Further to the above, an electrically activated valve can be used, depending on
the needs of the user. Steel Pilot Cylinder 3lt capacity, containing nitrogen, with
manually and fuse activated valve or electrically activated valve depending on the
requirements of the user (Pilot Cylinder is used in case of a battery of more than
two cylinders). High Pressure Cylinder is CE certified according 97/23/EC by TUV
(CE 0036).
High Pressure Collector, 300bar, galvanized, its diameter varies from 11/4 to 3,
with 3/4 inlet and outlet varying from 3/4 to 3.

PERMANENT SYSTEM IG 541
IG - 541
IG 541 is used as agent for extinguishing fire in sensitive areas e.g.: computer rooms,
machinery storage facilities, sensitive devises storage facilities etc.
IG 541 consists of Nitrogen (52%), Argon(40%) and Carbon Dioxide (8%). It is odourless,
colourless, non - corrosive and because of the fact that is consists of gases that exist in
the atmosphere, it has no effect on the ozone layer and has zero effect on the rising of the
atmospheric temperature.
IG 541 extinguishes the fire by decreasing the existing oxygen levels of the are below 13%
(most common materials stop burning at this level).
In the same time, the Carbon Dioxide of the mixture protects any human being trapped in
the area from a low oxygen level. This effect occurs due to the fact that in case the Carbon
Dioxide existing in the blood and controls our breath rises, the oxygen transfer to the human
brain rises equally.
Therefore, if a human being is trapped in area of oxygen level less than 21% - which is the
normal condition-, then it is subjected to a very risky situation. The Carbon Dioxide of the
mixture causes the arteries to expand and as a result a higher level of oxygen approximately
of 15% compared to normal conditions - is transferred to the brain.
IG 541 is stored in cylinder of various capacities e.g.: 16, 40, 60, 67.5, 80 Lt.

PERMANENT SYSTEMS
AUTOMATIC PERMANENT SYSTEM FOR TRUCKS AND BUSES
The system has been designed and tested especially for the suppression of fires in the engine compartments
of construction machines and buses, resulting from a fuel or oil leak or a momentary electrical failure
Automatic fire suppression in an enclosed space is activated by the reaction of the detector cable as a result
of a flame or temperature rise
The critical temperature is +180C, which creates a short-circuit in the detector cable. The system can also
be activated manually from the cab by pressing the button at the firing station or by means of a manual triggering device from outside the machine. The reaction in the detector cable causes the activation of the firing
station by triggering the primer on the valve. The primer breaks the glass fuse causing the valve to open and
the extinguishing agent to discharge into the manifold. The extinguishing agent is sprayed into the engine
compartment through the nozzles in the manifold. The fire fighting foam coats the fire area, forming a uniform
film on the burning surface preventing its contact with oxygen, and the fire goes out. The aqueous film forming
foam prevents re-ignition and cools the fire area.
