Historical Society dated. January 22 was brought to me
yesterday. Perhaos you know by now that the Museum has
been closed since Christmas, the curator had eye surgery
the corresponding secretary had a stroke and I who am the
genealogist am grounded permanently in a wheelchair at home
So do accent my apologies for a delay in replying to your
letter. However I work in absentia nearly every day on
purchasing books, equipment, filing etc. for the Genealogy
Department which we hope will be ready for use in a few
months or less.
The enclosed data on the Spray-Millhouse from my own
data I hope will be of some benefit to you. In addition I
touc.h with Mrs. D. K. Hempstead,
1033 Killcrest. Wilmington whose brother as well as herself
has knowledge of the Millhouse family. At the time there
was publicity about the house which may be razed, she told
me her brother could have given some information.
