were told he'd never walk properly and being unable to care for him, they gave him up
for adoption.
Poverty, crime, drugs, and a flawed educational system surrounded him. Eric was often
told that his fate was already sealed and that he would end up in a gang, drug addicted,
in prison, or dead. Eric knew he had a decision to make, and *e ma#e a #e%ision to
