Lista de donantes potenciales a quienes puede solicitar fondos

La lista de donantes que sigue, incluye donantes para todos los pases. Por favor NO
enve su solicitud a todos ellos. Deber analizar el inters de cada donante en financiar
actividades en su pas, u organizaciones como la suya. Tenga en cuenta que el mismo donante
puede tener una poltica diferente para cada pas o regin.

La mayora de los donantes tienen informacin en sus paginas web que le puede ser
til para decidir a quienes de ellos enviar su solicitud. Incluso algunos donantes tiene un
sistema que le permitir solicitar su beca va Internet.

Le recomendamos que, adicionalmente a la lista que sigue, se dirija a las embajadas de
pases Europeos (por ejemplo Noruega, Dinamarca, Finlandia, Holanda, Suecia, Francia, Suiza,
Blgica, Alemania, Espaa y Gran Bretaa); Norte Amrica (Estados Unidos y Canad);
Australia y a cualquier otro pas que pueda tener un inters particular en su pas. Le
sugerimos tambin que acuda a su propia cancillera.

Asimismo, entre las financiadoras procure buscar aquellas relacionadas con los temas
del curso de este ao: Derechos de la Mujer y Derechos de Personas que viven con
discapacidad.
Comprobar que en algunos casos, los contactos indicados pueden no ser
vlidos. Como nosotros no mantenemos contacto regular con todos los donantes
listados, usted es una va por la cual podremos actualizar los contactos. Le pedimos
entonces que nos informe de cualquier cambio que usted encuentre.

Al realizar sus solicitudes le sugerimos lo siguiente:

1. Si usted tiene algn contacto personal con un donante potencial, utilcelo para
identificar y contactar a la persona indicada. Si usted no tiene ningn contacto y no
sabe quien es la persona a cargo, pregunte quien es la persona de contacto para ONGs
o la persona encargada de derechos humanos, Sociedad Civil o Democracia. Si no
existe ninguna unidad con esa denominacin, pregunte si hay una persona encargada
de becas.
2. Una vez que haya identificado a la persona apropiada, procure ponerse en contacto
por va telefnica para presentarse y explicar su solicitud. Intente determinar el grado
de inters e informe que esta preparado para enviar una solicitud por escrito. Este
llamo le permitir comprobar tambin si ha identificado a la persona correcta. Si fuera
posible, puede ser oportuno solicitar una entrevista personal.
3. Por ultimo, una sugerencia importante!: proponga al potencial donante realizar una
presentacin a su regreso del curso. Ello puede hacerse mediante una presentacin de
medio da al staff de la organizacin que le dar financiamiento. Si usted puede
realizar este tipo de presentacin, es conveniente que lo mencione en su primera
conversacin, as como tambin en la carta en la que solicite los fondos por escrito

El proceso de obtener fondos puede demorar. No se de por vencido!. Enve sus solicitudes y
mantenga control de las solicitudes enviadas as como de las respuestas que le enven, aun si
es negativa. Puede tambin pedir sugerencias. Hganos saber si necesita alguna informacin
especfica.
