President's Letter
My friends:
It's hard to imagine a better year for Triangle Ultimate. During our 2013
fiscal year (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014) we:
Hosted USAU's U.S. Open Championships & Convention;
Hired our organization's first full-time paid staff member;
Expanded our board of directors and volunteer base, providing more
opportunities to lead and serve; and
Established and piloted innovative programs to expand our impact
within the Triangle region of North Carolina.
This doesnt include the amazing and impressive accolades of our YCC,
College, and Club Teams, or our individual players!
Through a three-month process, your dedicated board of directors
crafted our organizations vision, our mission, and our strategic priorities
through 2016. We present this work to you in our annual report.
We close our fiscal year in a strong financial position, yielding an
incredible opportunity for our community to invest in establishing and
scaling impactful programs, such as our All-Girls Learn to Play Clinics
and the organizations first ever Corporate League.
We have an extraordinary vision for our community - I invite you to join
our work to create a sustainable organization dedicated to improving the
Triangle through the sport we love and with the spirit by which we play it.
Nominations for the 2015-2016 members of the TFDA board
of directors are now open, and you can always find
opportunities to volunteer at www.tfda.org/volunteer.
Enjoy our report. I'll see you on the field.
