Letter of Reference

I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Mr. Irfan ali. I know Mr. Irfan Ali
through his work in my organization for 3 years. I first met him when I conducted his interview as a
General Manager Technical being the member of interview panel. He appeared intelligent and quite
reasonable. He completed his probation period and initial training successfully. Subsequently, he was
assigned the duties of Energy Efficiency Audits of Industry (Mechanical Section) with his other team
members under the Programe for Sustainable Development (PISD) initiated by Royal Netherlands in
Pakistan.
He demonstrated his ability to work independently as a good team member with great creativity and
enthusiasm. He also put in many long hours. He worked as hard as my employee. He conducted audits of
more than 50 Industries in Textile and leather sector. He acquired hands-on experience on Energy
Auditing tools and energy consuming equipments. By his dedication, he explored many new areas of
energy wastage in industries and searched for energy solutions. He learned about report writing and
presentation skills.
His interpersonal skills were excellent. The feedback of our clients such as M/S Descon Oxchem and M/S
Nishat group of Industries was quite positive. They were satisfied with the performance and services of
Mr. Irfan. They commended him in several liaison and follow up meetings. Mr. Irfan developed
professional relations with industrys management which helped improving the image of the organization.
The other team member working with Mr. Irfan commented favorably about working with him. He said
that Mr. Irfan got along well with everyone, pulled his weight on the project and had the ability to
compromise with other team members. Even in cases of conflicting issues, he never lost his temperament
and found common grounds with others.
I was especially taken by Mr. Irfans creative mind and independent work ethic. He continued to read the
literature independently and generate interesting hypotheses. We met about every other week, and at
several meetings he presented papers and information that was new to me. He used to participate in
technical and professional discussions. Mr.Irfan also showed remarkable problem solving ability. When
the company stepped into new, highly competitive private projects, Mr. Irfan worked hard and
intelligently with his team to earn new business avenues for the company.
In summary, Mr. Irfan is clearly the best employee I have worked with in my last 10 years. I give him my
highest recommendation.
