Terms of Reference of the Revaluation of Services Task Force (RSTF)
Introduction
Over the past few years, the Commerce Undergraduate Society has seen stagnancy and decline in the use of
many of its services. This task force has been assembled to determine the cause of such issues, the
opportunities available for growth, and to revaluate the value our services currently provide. The task force
will not only focus on internal performance, but a comparison with other Canadian business schools
undergraduate societies. Ultimately, the task force's work will culminate in a presentation to the Board of
Directors outlining its findings and providing recommendations on how to reposition its offerings to students.
Committee Membership
The committee is to be composed of:
1. The following voting members, with the exception of any appointed to chair the committee:
A. Two members of the Board of Directors, selected by the Board of Directors.
B. Two members of the Executive Council, selected by the Executive Council.
2. The following non-voting members:
A. The following non-voting ex officio members of the Board of Directors and Executive Council, who
shall partake in the committees activities at their discretion.
I. The President.
II. The Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
Chair and Vice-Chair
No Chair or Vice-Chair will be appointed for the Task Force. The members of the Task Force shall amongst
themselves appoint a Secretary to carry our the responsibilities of a Chair will regard to administration and
scheduling, but who shall retain their vote and bare no responsibility for directing the affairs of the
committee. Any member of the committee may serve as Secretary.
Frequency of Meetings
The committee is to meet no less than once per month during the academic year or a total of eight (8) times
per year.
Term
Committee members terms shall expire upon annual turnover as determined by the CUS Constitution, or
upon such a time as when the committees membership may be replaced by the Board of Directors and
Executive Council, with such a term not to exceed one (1) year.

The Task Forces rules shall be determined by its membership by simple majority vote.
In the event of a tied vote, the motion shall be considered to be lost.
