They are; Claysville and West Middletown boroughs, and Blaine, Buffalo, Canton, Donegal, East

attaining due to mining related activities. Buffalo Creek flows west into West Virginia where it flows into the Ohio River. The PA portion is approximately 114 square miles / 72,960 acres. At the center of the PA portion of
Buffalo Creek Watershed is PA State Game Lands #232. A small amount of PA Game Lands #245 is in the south central portion of the watershed. Interstate 70 extends eastwest in the southern portion of the watershed.
