Good Morning ladies and gentleman, the honorable adjudicator and the member of
this house. Im Devi Utami as the first speaker of the affirmative team. Its Trisna
Dewi as second speaker and Mariadnyani as third speaker. Now I will deliver my
speech about our motion today This House Will Band Import Cosmetic.
Cosmetic can use to make a person look more interents on the other hand cosmetic
has bad effects our health. Import cosmetic is cosmetic trade from one to another
country. There are many ingredients that can be dangerous to be human body in
import cosmetic. According to the BPOM agency, there are 27 brand of cosmetic that
contain dangerous ingredients. For example from the materials that contains of
mercury, hydroquinone, rhodamin B, and Merak K3. When these materials are used
in a long time it can be not good to the users. Totally I agree that import cosmetic
should be ban in Indonesia. It will be nice if we buy local product cosmetic for
increase income our country.

this house. Im Dwi Junia as first speaker on negative side, She is Dian Yuniantari as
seconds speaker she will discuss Quality of imported cosmetics, and she is Widya
Wistarani as third speaker on negative speaker.

What I can caught from the first speaker, in my opinion I dont agree with opinion the
first speaker of affirmative side. I will rebut first speaker affirmative side that said
cosmetic that contain ingredients that are prohibited for cosmetic.
There is many people who use makeup tools, especially women. Makeup can boots
your confidence for users because it can hide flaws and show the beauty of the users.
Imported cosmetics are known for having better quality and do not contain hazardous
materials.
Import cosmetics easy to use, good results, long-lasting. Branded import cosmetic
also had a better result because it had many colors, scent and texture.

this house, Im Trisna Dewi as the second speaker on affirmative team. My speech is
about our motion today negative impact import cosmetic on health side. I will rebute
the opinion of first speaker of negative team, she said import cosmetic have many
benefit such as good quality, practice in use, instant to get beauty, long last to using
and have a good branded.
I think if we use import cosmetic for our skin, its make many negative impact such
as our skin irritation, make skin feel burn, beside that using import cosmetic for a
long time can causes acne, black spot and skin cancer. Im agree with my first
speaker Devi Utami, she said import cosmetic contain many harmfull ingridient like
mercury, hydroqinon, rhodhamin B and many ingredient other. I think the harmfull
ingredient is give bad impact for our skin health. On my opinion we must use local
brand cosmetic because our local brand cosmetic more proven that import cosmetic,
our local cosmetic sure match with our skin type.

this house. Im Dian Yuniantari as the second speaker of negative team. Now I want
to rebut the second speaker of affirmative team and deliver my speech about our
motion today in quality and price side of the Cosmetics.
What I can caught from the second speaker, in my opinion I dont agree with the
opinion of the second speaker of affirmative team, because its mean that we have to
be careful in choosing the ingredients of the cosmetic and now the customer have to
give the recommendation of the products. And the customer have to try the cosmetic
before applied it to our body.
My opinion : Imported cosmetics has many advantages such as :
Quality of imported cosmetics better, is evident from the many enthusiasts
who use imported cosmetics, skin look whiter, cleaner and glowing, in a short
time customer can get skin free of acne. This makes woman feel satisfied with
the result they get.
Judging by the price, the price of imported cosmetics are comparable with the
result they get so that they are not concerned to issue price.

this house. Im Mariadnyani as a third speaker of affirmative team. I would like rebut
the first and second speaker of negative team. The first speaker said import cosmetic
have some benefit and instant to get beauty. The second speaker said the benefit of
using import cosmetic good quality and best price.
What I can caught from the first and second speaker, in my opinion Im disagree
about opinion of the negative team, because import cosmetic product is not only give
benefit like the first and second speaker of negative team say. Import cosmetic
contain harmfull ingredients like mercury, hidroquinon, rodamin B, that have
negative impact for health.
Im agree with my team opinion, import cosmetic is not good for health because
brand of cosmetic that contain ingredients that are prohibited for cosmetic. If we use
in long period import cosmetic make many negative impact such as, irritation, make
skin feel burn, and skin cancer. Although price import cosmetic is cheap and more
attractive to women with a rapid and satisfactory results.

this house. Im Widya Wistarani as the third speaker of the negative team. I would
like rebut the first and the second speakers of the affirmative team.
What I can caught from the first and second speaker, in my opinion im disagree with
the opinion of the first and the second speakers of the affirmative team. She said in
import cosmetic there are many ingredients that can be harmful for the human body
and import cosmetic contain harmfull ingredients that give bad impact for our skin
health. In my opinion not all cosmetic contain of harmful ingredients. We as
customer not easily to choose the cosmetic for used. And the side effect of using
cosmetic can decreasing by always using milk cleanser for clean our face before and
after using cosmetic on our face. I think high technology in abroad which use by
researcher is more good and not easily to input harmful ingredient in their cosmetic.
So, I really agree with the opinion of my team.

I want that review and conclu our debate today from my team. As my second speaker
said import cosmetic contain dangerous ingredients. Even cosmetic import cheaper,
more attractive and satisty to woman but in a few months, the beauty will turn into a
skin disease that will kill users. This is our opinion of affirmative team and Im really
not agree with the opinion from negative team and I still agree with the opinion from
my team.

Good Morning ladies and gentleman, the honourable adjudicator and the member of
this house. Im Dwi Junia as the replay speaker of negative team. Now I want to
review and deliver the conclusion of our motion today. As all of my team already said
that, Imported cosmetic is already sold freely in Indonesia, So why the government
have to ban the imported cosmetic when its already sold freely? I think all of us have
use the imported cosmetic, like oriflamme, Maybelline new york, etc. So the
affirmative team dont give us a clear definition why we should ban the imported
cosmetic. Compared to the local cosmetic brand the prices of imported cosmetic is
cheaper, also from the survey of top cosmetic brand 2013 in Indonesia, the imported
cosmetic is in highest place. In the Global Trading era the government is not allowed
to do a discrimination in import exspor. I think that the government should not force
their attention just in the impor but also in export they have put more concern in the
export of natural resources, like petroleum, coal, etc. The opponent team said that in
imported cosmetic there is contain many ingredient that harmful for our skin, but my
third speaker already clearly explain that, as a customer we have to be careful with
what we use, therefore we have to pay attention on what the contain of the product
that we buy. The other solution is we should buy the product that have highly
recommended rate. So, the conclusion is Indonesia should not ban the imported
cosmetic, but we as a consumer should be careful in choosing the product that we use,
so that we would not get an accident when we used cosmetic. Its mean that we
totally dont agree with our motion today.
