Learning is like rowing upstream, not to advance is to float backwards.
Having learnt from the past, I live in the present with an eye on the future. My foremost dream in life is to be acknowledged and congratulated for my academic achievements. This desire is the main motivation in me, wanting to pursue my Masters at your esteemed University. With due respect to these thoughts in my mind, I have developed a great belief in consistent hard work which made it possible to have successful experiences from my schooling to undergraduate college. These establishments of perfect positivity gave me the confidence of associating myself to the field of Engineering, because a dream is not just a mere thought, its an individuals purpose, and an engineer is one who has the tendency to manufacture and realize these dreams. The first few days of engineering made me realize that my progressive approach towards my aim has brought me closer to the much awaited exposure that I always wanted to experience. During my freshmen year, I stepped into the world of programming, which included languages like C and C++, and these languages inculcated the perspective of being an efficient coder. In addition to the above languages, the language that embarked a new sense of inclination in my programming journey was JAVA. The conceptual details and practical outsourcing of this object oriented language gave a new basement in my construction of programs. To keep up with the on-going technologies, I have presented a paper on Virtual Reality and panoramic view for which I was awarded the 1st prize at B. V. Raju Institute of Technology. Apart from this, Ive also given presentation on Bluetooth Security, in various reputed institutions. To my credit I have won two silver medals for my academics during the course of my under graduation. In addition to the pursuit in academic field, I always believe that a students participation in non-academic bustles makes him stronger in his professional front. Therefore, as a part of an NGO group organized by our college, I got an opportunity to explore the diversity and dissimilarity amongst various genres in our society. Moreover, I was also given the opportunity to be a part of blood donation camp organized by Indian Red Cross Society. This learning experience befriended me with a notion that any kind of change is acceptable, only if it has the tendency to change the perception of a person. Its the passion and ardor for a techno-functional career that has motivated me to grasp the opportunity of working at Accenture Pvt Ltd, as Assistant Software Engineer. I worked as part of the QA team in the British Telecom project. This being my first job in testing field provided me a platform to embrace both technical as well as functional business knowledge. My area of work revolves around the functional testing and the management application. I have closely worked with the clients and the team members to understand and meet their requirements with my skills in analyzing the requirements and providing right test cases on which meets all requirements of the client. I have detected few defects at the time of analysis which were very crucial and I was appreciated for work and my keen observations of the requirements at the initial stage of analysis phase, which bought me a great visibility in the team. And at the time of testing execution phase I have found many issues with the developed application and I have provided the exact fault details to the development team so that it can be fixed easily in very less time. The direct interaction with different teams in the project had helped me gaining good knowledge in the field of development as well as in analysis part and this exposure helped me in gaining profound knowledge about the requirements of the project. The qualities I gained from my first job are not limited to perfection and persistence. With a wide variety of interests that are depicted throughout my academic career, I selected the area of interaction with business being on the technology stream as a pathway for my career and hence chose Management in Information Systems as the ideal course for my graduation. This is a result of my zeal in driving my career into managerial roles of business wings without losing my technical expertise. I have witnessed firsthand that business and technology are inextricably interwoven and that it is not possible to imagine one without the other. This scenario has provided me some of the greatest challenges at the workplace in order to understand the business requirements and elucidate business teams about the feasibility of utilizing the technology to make the business smoother and more efficient.
