how to add a prole picture
1. nd a picture. this can be anything! (it does not have to
actually be a picture of you!) if you are having trouble
deciding, dont worry - you can always change it!
2. go to Content > Prole pictures

3. upload your prole picture (if it is too big, check
out the next slide) and set it as default.

4. if you need to make your prole picture smaller,
open it in iPhoto, then click File > Export and make
the quality/size smaller. then try uploading it again!

to go all the way down to
Low (smallest size) and
Small - you can experiment

1. hover over Groups, click on Find Friends (type in my last name,
Appel, search, then request friendship)
2. hover over Groups, click on Find Groups (type in my last name,
Appel, search, then join the RHHS - Appel Photo 1 group

1. hover over Portfolio, click on Pages

2. click on the pencil (edit content and layout) next to your Prole
page on the list of your pages (note that you will have less pages
than me)

3. click on the congure block... box next to your About Me
section. (note that mine is actually called something else because I
changed the title.) once inside, you can type! make sure to SAVE.
creating Mahara pages
Hover over Portfolio, then click on Pages
Click Create page.
Give your page a title (You need both a Breadth page and
a Photoshop page) THEN CLICK ON SHARE PAGE!
Click ADD next to All My Groups THEN CLICK SAVE!
(NOTE: you will have less pages / groups than me)
adding images* to your
Mahara portfolio pages:
*after they have been properly edited
FIRST:
copy the image from your
SCHOOL ACCOUNT
FOLDER onto the Desktop.
THEN...
Hover over Portfolio, then click on Pages
Click the edit pencil next to the page youre
adding an image to.
Click on Edit Content and Files, Images, and Video
From here, drag (click, hold, and move) the box that looks
like a cartoon landscape (grass, tree, sun) into any part of
the empty white rectangular space above "Done."
CLICK HERE
A window will pop up. Click in the box next to upload le.
Select the image you want to upload and click Open
10. Give your image a better title than Image
Title your image with the assignment title (REQUIRED) and a personal title (ENCOURAGED.)

Scroll down and click on BOTH Show
description and Save!
