what they saw, 90% of the hands go down. I would personally expect that the number of
abductions is far greater than is generally thought to be the case. We really dont have a good
handle as to why aliens are here, where they are from, how they select abductees in general
and how to decide who will be tracked or reexamined. Is it a random sampling process? We
have no idea whether many different alien groups are involved and report to a common
office at the Galactic Federation or if they are all independent. Are they graduate students
doing their research on our primitive society? We have no idea if the US government is well
aware of the abductions, but has no desire to interfere, or perhaps cant. Is it sometimes just a
Catch and Release program, or are most abductees selected for long term monitoring just as
we attach devices to many different species of wild life and track them via data provided by
tiny transmitters which broadcast to satellites which are monitored. Obviously I wouldnt
have made such a suggestion 70 year ago when we didnt have the technology to monitor or
satellites to receive and retransmit the data.

I wish I knew what the leaders in Central America thought about all the visitors after
Columbus? They spoke different languages, seemed to have different objectives such as
conversion of heathens, mining or stealing of gold, learning about new crops, etc. Seemed to
come from different places. Judging by all the reports of Unidentified Submerged Objects,
maybe the sea floor is really their objective.

It has been suggested that aliens are checking out our DNA or, trying to determine our
exposure, to various biological agents. Some are convinced that cattle mutilations are a crude
way of evaluating the presence of prions or other strange infectious agents. Ray does talk of
the surprise at going through walls; another strange aspect of the UFO phenomenon.

The debunkers cant understand that anybody can believe that such things can happen. As
noted in Science WAS Wrong A host of new ideas (flight, space travel, invisible bacteria,
etc.) were attacked by prominent scientists as being impossible because they didnt know
how to do it. Arrogance when ignorant should not be part of the scientific method.
