My Plan
Together, we face a number of challenges in our profession. As a patrol Sergeant, I work side by side with our sworn and civilian
members and experience the daily difficulties endured by our hard working, committed members.
We need a solid foundation to build a stronger voice.
1. Strengthen Finances build stability and efficiencies through process reviews of current spending that are accountable to
you. Reviews will include:
a. Courses & conferences
b. Charitable and indemnification funds
c. Operational costs & the Club

2. Strengthen the HPA Board and staff Manage the HPA to ensure the staff and Board are providing the service our Members
deserve. Develop a succession plan for the President and the Staff to ensure stability and longevity.
3. Broaden Internal Communication Modernize internal communication with all members to keep you informed in real-time
on issues that matter to you.
4. Increase our Media Voice Defend and advance our profession through education and building relationships with the public
through a louder media voice.
5. Staffing Levels Address our current staffing levels and hold the Service accountable for ensuring our members physical and
mental well-being.
My Promise to the Members
With your investment in me, I will invest in you. My commitment to you extends beyond one term of presidency. I truly have the
best interests of our members at heart. With 17 years of experience, the decisions I make, the agreements I enter, the concessions I
agree to; I will experience when I resume my Policing career. I will answer to you; the member.
