Assembly:
Fit the tanks like the standard fitting on the LA4x2NA, but
in a position 38 mm higher (38 mm is the pitch of the
holes in the tank bracket reinforcement).
Remove drilling swarf,
also swarf fallen on chassis and surrounding areas
!!!
For this, the holes in the tank bracket must be drilled (
14,8 mm) (picture 1).
The rearmost tank brackets must be shortened 3 cm so
that they fit just under the L-profile, see picture 2.
The length position of the hole patterns is shown in the
attached drawing.
Remark: XM 3412 is the length co-ordinate of the
rearmost line of rivets/ground bolt of the omega
beam near the transmission; this line can be used as
reference for marking the other holes.

Assembly:
If the truck is equiped with a GZ transmission, then the
foremost bolt of the connector/valve bracket is on the
right hand side in the frame member, in the position of
the foremost tank bracket. Remove drilling swarf,
also swarf fallen on chassis and surrounding areas
Move this valve by drilling a new hole 50 mm behind the
rearmost hole ( picture 5).
!!!
The exhaust brake line may be too short now, replace
with longer line if required.
(ensure also that the cables to the transmission are
long enough, if required move cable bracket
forwards)
If required the fuel lines must be lengthened, use elbow
nipple 812884 +cap nut/cutting ring/insert bush.
Put the float element aside, as ordered in the A-order.

Assembly:
If the truck is equiped with a water separating fuel filter,
move this and fit an extra bracket for securing it (the
bracket has to be fabricated, refer to TEAO for drawing).

If the truck has been ordered with a cylindrical damper
combined with exhaust middle, ensure the orifice is
distanced sufficiently from the tank and the tank bracket,
turn it around if required.(picture 7)

Assembly:
Fit the appropriate tank stickers and don't forget the
country code. If other country code than DE or AT, stick
on the GB stickers Remove drilling swarf,
also swarf fallen on chassis and surrounding areas
Fit 2 fuel filler caps which can be unlocked with the same
key (partnumber 1500308).
!!!
If a parking heater is fitted, fit nylon lace 384036 in the
suction line of the heater!
Reprogramm the sops files in connection with the volume
change, see document 1749148.
The ground clearance with tire size 315/60R22.5 is
approx. 150 mm.
Tightening torque:
Tankstrap------- 30 Nm
Crane------------- 25 Nm and tighten further to the correct position
Stop--------------- 25 Nm
Bleed nipple---- 25 Nm and tighten further to the correct position
Fuel lines--30 Nm
