Consequent UpOl1 issuance of Notification No. 27/2014-CE (N!) dated
16.09.2014 and Notification No. 20/2014 - ST dated 16.09.2014 by the Ministry of
Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi specifying thejurisdiction of the Chief
Commissioner of Central Exciseand the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Central
Excise, the jurisdiction of the Central Excise &Service Tax Division falling under
each Commisstonerate andthose of Central Excise&Service Tax Ranges under each
such division of the Commissionerates under this Zone, is re-organized, as shown in
Tableannexed as Annexure 1, H, I ll, I V to this trade notice. Thenew J urisdictions will
be effective from the 15
th
October, 2014 and in supersession Of all trade notice's
issued earlier inthisregard.
2. Consequent to the re-organization of jurisdiction of the Central Excise
Divisions and the Ranges as mentioned inthe Annexures, the integrated Divisionsl
Ranges shall have jurisdiction over both Central Excise and Service Tax assesses
fallingwithin their respective jurisdiction except the following:
(i) I n Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerate of Agra a Service TaX'
Division is being created, to look after the work of Service Tax, whose
J urisdiction extends to entire territory of Central ExciseDivision Agra.
(H) (a) I n Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerate of Kanpur a Service
Tax:Division is being created to look after the work of Service Tax, whose
jurisdiction extends to entire territory of Central ExciseDivisions I,.ll and III
of Kanpur. ~
(H) (b) Service Tax matters of Range l.ll and HI of Central ExciseDiviston [hansi
shall be looked after by Central Excise Range I V of the. Central Excise
Division[hansi.
(Hi) I n Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerate of Lucknow a Service
Tax Division is being created, to look after the work of Service T&'(,
whose jurisdiction extends to whole of the Revenue Districts of Lucknow
and Barabanki,
3. Thejurisdiction of exclusive Service Tax Ranges shall beaccording to the first
alphabet of the name of the assessees, as mentioned inthe Annexures to this Trade
Notice.
4. TCDs at Kanpur and Agra will be under the jurisdiction of Central Excise
Cornmissionerate Kanpur and Agra respectively.
An the trade and associations are request to bring this to the notice of all
concerned. Difficulty, if any, should bebrought tonotice within 10days.
