(WS) Begin Horseshoe pat; work 24 rows
(3 repeats).
Purl 1 row.
(RS) Change to k3, p2 rib; work 9, end
with a WS row.
(RS) Knit 1 row, dec 1 st 90 (100, 110,
120) sts.
Continue in St st; work even until piece
measures 14 from beg, end with a WS
row.
Shape Armholes
(RS) Bind off 5 (5, 6, 6) sts at beg of next 2
rows, then dec 1 st at each end of every
RS row 5 (6, 7, 8) times 70 (78, 84, 92)
sts rem.
Work even until Armholes measure 7 (8,
8, 9) from beg, end with a WS row.
Shape Shoulders
(RS) Bind off 6 (7, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 2
rows, then 5 (6, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 4
rows 38 (40, 42, 44) sts rem. Bind off all
sts.

FRONT
Work as for BACK until piece measures
14 from beg, end with a WS row; pm
between center sts.
Shape Neck
(RS) Continuing with Armhole shaping,
work to 2 sts before marker, k2tog, join a
second ball of yarn, k2togtbl, work to
end.
Working both sides at the same time, dec
1 st at Neck edge every RS row 18 (19,
20, 21) more times 16 (19, 21, 24) sts
rem.
Work even until piece measures same as
BACK to Shoulder shaping.
Shape Shoulders
Work as for BACK.

SLEEVES
Cast on 50 (50, 56, 56) sts..
(WS) Begin Miniature Leaf pattern; work
10 rows.
Shape Sleeve
(WS) Continuing in Miniature Leaf pattern,
inc 1 st each side every 10th row 6 (7, 6,
7) times total 62 (64, 68, 70) sts.
Work even until piece measures 12 (12,
13, 13) from beg, end with a WS row.
Shape Cap
(RS) Keeping in pattern, bind off 5 (5, 6, 6)
sts at beg of next 2 rows, then dec 1 st at
each end every RS row 15 times 22 (24,
26, 28) sts rem.
(RS) Bind off 4 sts at beg of next 4 rows
6 (8, 10, 12) sts rem. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Block pieces to measurements. Sew
Shoulder
seams. Set in SLEEVES; sew side and
Sleeve seams.
Neck Edging
With RS facing, beg at back of Neck and
using crochet hook, work 1 row of Rev sc
around entire Neck edge. Weave in ends.
