"Should" is most commonly used to make recommendations or give advice. It can also be
used to express obligation as well as expectation.
Examples:
When you go to Berlin you should visit the palaces in !otsdam. recommendation

Using "Should" in Present, Past, and Future

We o#ten use should when o##ering advice or opinions <similar to ought to=:

In these cases the phrase "I should" really means something like "you should".

We o#ten use a special verb #orm called the sub;unctive when talking about events that
somebody wants to happen hopes will happen or imagines happening #or example:

:owever this is much more common in &merican English. British English speakers
would probably convey the same idea using should:
