Shrichakra Nyasa

The following lengthy and complex nyasa is translated from Nityotsava, a work based on the Kalpasutras, and
written by Umanandanatha, a disciple of Bhaskararaya (Bhasurandandanatha), an 18th century deotee of !hri
"idya who wrote an extensie commentary on the Lalitasahasranama (Thousand #ames of $alita)%

The !hri (hakra #yasa identifies the different elements of the !hri )antra with different parts of the human
organism% 's the deotee touches the particular part of the body, she or he isualises the particular aspect and at the
same time pronounces a mantra, linked to the particular matrikas or letters of the !anskrit alphabet%
