Technical Project Leader

Broad Function
Technical Project leadership to manage, drive and deliver projects from concept through to launch. This role
includes New Product Development as well as derivative and sustaining projects.
Principal Responsibilities
Working with the project stakeholders to define and develop the technical project plans and support the
allocation of resources to meet the product portfolio commercial requirements.
Provide guidance and expertise to the functional teams to ensure efficient project delivery across the
programme.
Ensure the compliant delivery of projects in line with design control procedures and applicable quality and
regulatory standards.
Responsibility for DHF compliance.
Responsibility for financial compliance within scope of role.
Manage risk with the projects and mitigate and provide solutions to overcome challenges to delivery.
Manage and facilitate design control document creation and administration.
Manage, Facilitate, coordinate and participate in Design Review meetings.
Support other departmental activities as requested by department management or designate.
Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional
standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with BTG values.

Education and Experience
Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
Proven and significant experience in leading and delivering drug/device combination products, or complex
medical devices through product development and into commercial phases.

Proven experience in people leadership in a strong technical arena.
Proven track record of working with cross functional teams in a high paced and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and evolution of working practices to be efficient with product development
activities.
Experience of working in a cGMP environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of cGMPs, MHRA, FDA regulations and SOPs.

Skills and Attributes
Strong people leader, who engages and excites others in the business with their passion and energy.
Ability to take multifaceted complex information and define a path forward.
Demonstrated advanced computer skills, particularly MS project.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct verbal presentations
appropriate to the level of the audience.
Demonstrated success working in and leading a team environment.
