SETUP GUIDE

Buyi ng a genui ne product warranty that you al ways can access to support, updates and opti ons li ke ori gi nal fi l es recover from our
onli ne server when your fi l es are l ost or corrupted.
How to install our product
Before to conti nue wi th the product i nstallati on, check up the fol l owi ng:
Your computer must di spose of Internet connecti on.
Our products are al ways add-ons for Microsoft FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004 And FLIGHT SIMULATOR X Or X-PLANE by
LAMINAR RESEARCH. If you have any of these products, veri fy the product versi on.
If all of those details are correct, then conti nue wi th the fol l owi ng steps:
Step 1: Setup from the Download File.
Extract all the .zi p fi l e content to a temporary fol der.
Veri fy the Fl i ght Si mul ator platform wher e you want to set up the product.
- XXX_2K4.exe (FS9 Setup)
- XXX_FSX.exe (FSX Setup)
PC or Mac (X-Pl ane 9.20 or later)
Read carefull y every Setup i nstructi on, agree the EULA l i cense and fi nall y conti nue wi th Setup.
If you are a Mac user, you shoul d move each fol der to the X-Pl ane System root fol der.
Step 2: Product Registering & Security File Setup.
When Setup (PC Onl y) fi nali zes, the onl i ne consol e opens wi th the fol l owi ng ti tl e: Joi n To Product Zone. If thi s wi ndow does
not open, i n your PC desktop there i s a li nk whi ch contai ns this ti tl e: Connect wi th Vi rtual col , and the i con is our software
house l ogo.
The regi steri ng process is made once onl y.
If this is the fi rst product i nstall ed on your PC, sel ect I am a new customer of Vi rtual col products opti on.
If you have another product i nstall ed on your PC, access our consol e l oggi ng i n wi th your e-mail and your password.
If you have an account but you do not r emember you l ogi n password, sel ect I am Virtualcol customer but I do not remember
a password opti on.
On the Registered Products col umn, cli ck the product that you are i nstalli ng.
Cli ck Installation of security fil e, compl ements and last updates l i nk. Foll ow the wi zard i nstructi ons and downl oad the FS
platform fi l e.
Securi ty Fil e is the most i mportant fil e because i t fi nishes setup process and vali dates the product functi onali ty. When the
product is ai rcraft, Securi ty Fil e i nstalls thei r gauges, but when the product i s scenery, Securi ty Fil e i nstal ls Termi nals &
Buli di ngs BGLs. If you do not downl oad this fil e or you do not setup i t, the product wi ll not get the correct functi onali ty.
When Securi ty Fil e Setup fi nali zes, cl ose all wi ndows and external programs, and fi nall y execute your FS. Now you can enjoy
the product successfull y i nstall ed.


Product Tips
If you experi ment i ssues accessi ng to our onli ne consol e and you have veri fi ed many ti mes your password and your e-mail , or you
have no products i n the Regi stered Products col umn, pl ease try sol vi ng thi s issue foll owi ng thi s steps:
If you are usi ng any versi on of Internet Explorer, open Tools menu, and sel ect Cl ean Expl orer Hi story. Then sel ect Cooki es
and Temporary Fil es, fi nall y cli ck Cl ear. Now try agai n accessi ng the consol e.
If this isuue persists, contact us to our email ventas@vi rtualcol .com and l et us hel p you. Do not forget send your serial
number whi ch we suggest you to not forget for any reason because i t is your genui ne li cense.
If you are Wi ndows Vista or Wi ndows 7 user and you are usi ng FS9 and the root fol der is l ocated i n Program Fil es fol der, follow this
steps (onl y i f you have UAC enabl ed):
Open your Expl orer wi ndow. Fi nd the FS9 root fol der and cli ck i t.
Ri ght click i t and cli ck on Properti es. Now go to the Securi ty Tab, and cli ck Edi t.
There on the User names lists, cli ck on each i tem and check on the l ist bel ow, the Ful l Control check box. Now cli ck Apply
and pl ease wai t until Wi ndows sets up thi s fol der. Fi nall y cli ck OK.
Or i f you want to disabl e UAC, go to Control Panel , doubl e cli ck on User Accounts.
There cl ick on the Enabl e/Di sabl e UAC l i nk. Cli ck Conti nue on the UAC wi ndow. Fi nall y uncheck Use UAC check box.
Reboot PC and restart Setup.
