About project:
Fujitsu (UK) and Satyam are service providers for Thomson Reuters as Fujitsu (UK) and satyam
are business partners in providing service delivery for Thomson Reuters messaging platform.
Project Description:
Providing remote level-2 support in MS Exchange server 2007 for Reuters as the datacenters are
located in UK.
• Handling level-2 based Exchange tickets which have been handled via Unicentre ticketing
tool.
• Whereas the Incident tickets are generated by NOC (L1 monitoring) team and assigned it
to messaging queue for further action.
• Handling Incident tickets related with Exchange services, storage, replication, cluster heart
beat alert failure, Disc space and all types of critical alerts.
• In other side we are handling change requests such as rebooting of servers, changing
server configuration.
• Handling access permissions of Black berry and archiving for end users.
Archiving technology:
• Handling Symantec’s Enterprise vault for mailboxes while mailbox migration to another
server, and troubleshooting issues.
• Enabling and disabling of archive to mailboxes through archive admin tool during migration
Backup/storage technology:
• Day to day role like monitoring backup on all exchange servers and performing backup
controlling of all exchange servers in datacenter using CA Arcserve networked backup.

Project Description:
Arvato systems are a German based IT service provider and business partner of Satyam. Arvato
systems and Satyam is providing service delivery for SONY BMG world wide (music and
entertainment). Arvato systems is a part of Bertelsmann media group and Arvato extended their
services with Satyam for their business needs.
Providing level-2 remote support to SONY BMG. Arvato systems located in Germany having three
data centers locally which is having hosted exchange servers and archive servers of SONY BMG.
Apart from Exchange server support, Satyam also providing technical support to SONY BMG for
SAP, Sybase, Oracle and Cisco technologies along with Arvato systems.
• Handling level-2 based Exchange tickets which has been handled via remedy ticketing tool.
• We are handling lots of exchange activities which is classified as incident based and
service based, I am furnishing some of the important activities along with this profile.
• Whereas Incident requests is raised by Tivoli with high priority if exchange server down, or
any related service is down, critical hard disk space, these requests are assigned to our
pool and we have to troubleshoot the issue.
• And service requests are raised by end users for their exchange related issues like:
mailbox restore, mailbox access (group mail), accessing mailbox in outbound domains,
managing quotas/size limits, managing distribution lists, group mailboxes and its access
management, correction in their SMTP address.
• Handling operational tasks like importing and exporting mailboxes as PST to enterprise
vault and enterprise vault to mailboxes vise versa.
• Restoration of mailboxes from last known backup as per user request, handling restoration
from backup to PST by using standard restoration procedures.
• Apart from this we will receive requests from our colleagues in Germany like scheduled
server reboot, migrating users to another feasible server location In same exchange site,
bringing exchange server into production and bringing exchange server out of production.
• Handling mailbox migration, migrating mailboxes to different servers in same version and
updated version (Exchange - 2007).
Archiving technology:
• Handling Symantec’s Enterprise vault for mailboxes while mailbox migration to another
server, and troubleshooting issues.

ZNA is a banking project which is having various line of business like home loans, finance,
incident management. Having its datacenter in US which is running under Active Directory servers.
Exchange server:
• Handling of exchange requests which is raised by end users for their exchange related
issues.
• Issues like mailbox restore, this will be done only if we received a service request from the
end users, mailbox will be restored from last known backup using Arcserve backup
software.
• Requesting for mailbox access (group mail), send as permissions and accessing mailbox
from outbound domains.
• Managing mailbox quotas/size limits, this will be done as per end user requested.
• Managing distribution lists, handling requests for creating DL, modifying DL and deleting
DL.
• Managing Group mailboxes, handling group mailboxes requests like group mailbox
creation, modification and deletion, also administering its access management, correction
in their SMTP address.

Technical details:
Worked as a team member for a client The Home Depot as level-2support engineer for data
center operations for managing and administration of Active Directory servers, objects, containers,
site replications and administration of third party applications.
• Level-2 windows server operations like administration of Exchange and Active Directory
objects and containers like user accounts, group accounts, distribution lists, generic
mailboxes.
• Managing and troubleshooting of replications for intersite level replication traffic.
