NCSP Reaches Tonnage Goal
Summa Group subsidiary NCSP has successfully reached 90 million tonnes between January
and August of 2014, making it a record volume since the start of the year. The tonnage
included:

Liquid cargo - 71.2 mln tonnes
Bulk cargo - 7.3 mln tonnes
Container cargo - 3.8 mln tonnes
General cargo - 8 mln tonnes

The groups CEO, Sultan Batov, commented on the success, stating that NCSPs achievement
was in increasing grain handling to 985 000 tonnes a month. This is a positive reflection on
what the year has to hold as Russias largest port operator. Coal dynamics remained strong
and saw a growth in percentage of 11% to 24.7% year on year. Ferrous metals also grew as
did timber volumes. While there is still a lag on iron ore and fertilizers, the gap has started
to shorten over the 2014 period, seeing Europes third-largest port operator showing
positive growth and efficiency of service.
President of FESCO Resigns

FESCO President, Ruslan Alikhanov, has resigned as the 5
th
president of FESCO as of September
2014. His 18 month tenure saw him accomplish the companys most important goal the
development of the long-term strategy for 2020. By 2020, FESCO should strengthen its
position as the largest transportation group in Russia with the goal of connecting Russias Far
East, Asia and Europe via the Trans-Siberian container trains as well as shipping lines.

Alikhonov has resigned in order to pursue personal endeavours and says of his resignation,
I am sincerely grateful to shareholders of FESCO for the cooperation and the opportunities.
Now Ill take care of the implementation of my own projects, and I would like to continue
my career in my new capacity.
The new President of FESCO, Konstantin Sokolov,
graduated from the Leningrad Higher Naval
Engineering School, worked as general director of
JSC, headed JSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port
and has extensive experience in the transportation
industry. He now moves from his role as vice-
president of FESCO to president in 2014.
Stroynovatsiva Wins Khrabovo Airport Tender

Stroynovatsiya (Summa group subsidiary) has won the open tender for the second stage of
the reconstruction of the Khrabrovo airport in Kaliningrad. The 3 173 452 billion rubles will
see the construction and assembly works of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise
Administration of Civil Airports (Aerodomes).

Khrabovo airport is situated just short of 20 kilometres northeast of Kaliningrad (in the
north east of Russia). The reconstruction of the airport will allow for larger aircrafts to use
the airport as well as lower class aircrafts and the IL-96-300 aircraft.

The project sees the extension of the runway by 850 meters (from 2500 m to 3350 m), the
expansion of the apron and the reconstruction of taxiways. The harmful effects of surface
water and ground water from the airport will also be treated by the
reconstruction of the drainage system and construction of water
treatment plants in the area.

The entire airport extension project should be completed
by the end of 2016.
