New students will be prompted to reset their password on rst login.
Passwords are case-sensive. The password policy requires that you have
a minimum of 8 characters with at least one number, one upper-case,
one lower case, the password cannot contain your rst or last name and
cannot contain any special characters (i.e. $#@%).

Student Login is your Student Number (7 digit student number i.e.
1234567)

The default Password is your date of birth in the following format
YYYYMMDD
Passwords are Case-Sensive. The password policy requires that you
have a minimum of 8 characters.

Please log into the student portal to idenfy your Network ID and
Student Email Address. Once logged in, you will go into the My Ad-
dresses tab which is located under your Prole tab. You will see your
Network ID and Email on the lower right hand side.

D2L Login
You can log into D2L through the student portal, myConestoga or
www.conestogaonline.ca.
You can log into D2L using your student number account or your
Network ID account.
If you require any assistance with in regards to D2L that excludes log-
ging in, please contact elearningsupport@conestogac.on.ca. If you
are unable to log into D2L, please contact itsdesk@conestogac.on.ca.

MyConestoga Login
You can access your student portal, the learning system D2L, Locker
Selecon, Oce 365 Student Email and VPN Access through
www.myconestoga.ca. Log into myConestoga using your Network ID
as this will give you access to all of these links. You will see all of the
above links on the le hand side under Launch Pad.

Connuing Educaon Student Login
Those enrolled in a computer related course will receive a login ID from the
instructor.
All others please visit the IT Service Desk to obtain an account.
Proof of enrollment is required.

Prinng Rules
All students have a 1500 page allowance per term. You may only print two
copies of a document, maximum 25 sheets. Double sided prinng is a de-
fault seng. If you run out of print credits, please visit IT Services.

Locker Selecon
Log into www.myconestoga.ca using your Network ID and password. You
will nd the locker icon located on the le hand side under Student Tools.

You can store your personal belongings in the bins at the OL home base,
but they will not be supervised. We advise you to book a locker / bring a
lock for the day. You are welcome to carry around a small bag / purse
with you if you would like.
You will be receiving a free lunch during Orientaon! Pack small snacks
if you think you will need them.

similaries with their classmates and have some laughs

Playing the Icebreaker
Prep:

Explain How to Play:
1. Student will form groups of 5 or 6 with the other students around
them
2. They will have 3 minutes to come up with 3 items that they all
agree on that they would want to survive a zombie apocalypse
3. Aer the 3 minutes is up get groups to share with another group
and compare their items for 2 minute
4. Ask for some volunteers to share some of their items with the
group (repeat the items loudly for everyone to hear)

The Co-Curricular Record enhances your success by recognizing and recording
your experiences. The Co-Curricular Record:
Assists students in explaining their learning experiences to employers
Enhances students portfolios through recognition on an official document
Provides a search engine for students to find meaningful on-campus opportunities






How to Use the CCR:

1) Login to myConestoga with your Network ID (jsmith or jsmith-cc), other-
wise, use your student/employee ID.

2) Click on the CCR logo, found on the LaunchPad, on the left side of the
screen.

3) Welcome to your CCR! Be sure to select and rank your Interests, join Or-
ganizations and RSVP to Events!

4) Be sure to submit your Reflection and add your Experience.

If any student refuses/doesnt want to play a game you can sll talk to them, oer a
prize, smile, answer a queson, say hi, talk about the school etc.
Through leadership and posive role modeling, we have the opportunity to impact
our community and build a respecul environment for everyone.
OLs are student ambassadors and role models represenng the Student Life Depart-
ment so it is very important that everyone acts with respect.
