taken into account when planning the value chain.
Location-dependent Product Master Data is Product Master Data which is assigned to a
Location.
A Product Master must exist in both the source and target locations in SAP APO.
All Material Master that exists in SAP R/3 is transferred to SAP APO via APO CIF.

SNP Stock Transfer Horizon

SNP Stock Transfer Horizon is defined in SNP Stk Trn. Hor field in Product Master. It is on SNP2 view in
Product Master.
It has the same concept as planning time fence in SAP R/3 and is used to freeze sourcing agreements
within the specified period. It is populated in Calendar days (7 days/week) and usually reflects the total
supply chain response time involved in the sourcing process (from order to delivery).
So, if the demand varies significantly inside the frozen period, the purchase requisition will only be
created after this horizon by the user manually.

/SAPAPO/SCC_TL1 - Transportation Lane

Transportation lane defines the sourcing relationship between shipping plant and the customer location
in terms of lead times (typically transit times).
Products must be in the transportation lane to have the order generated, otherwise the system does not
understand that a specific product is being sourced from a particular shipping plant. In addition to that,
the transportation lane refers to a TLB profile to build loads during the TLB run.

Description of values in Transportation Lane
1. SKU number in the transportation lane
2. Transportation validity from to this validity is for ETD not ETA
3. Means of transport for shipping consignments (any one of the means of transport can be
assigned to a single SKU at any point of time). The transportation duration in hours value is used
by the system to calculate the ETD when a user enters the ETA for the PReqs.
4. Product specific means of transport. Here the SKU is assigned to the means of transport. As
mentioned earlier only one means of transport can be assigned to a SKU at any given point of
time.
