How can Gopaljee supply and distribution model be extended to other

business lines in the Indian and South Asian context?
In south Asian context a country like India, the agro and allied industries mainly rely on
micro based operations which require resources from each and every level of work
domain.so as in Gopaljee companies case, who is owning agro based industry, requires
involvement of farmers who are in the grass root level. The Gopaljee companies have
evolved a logical strategy to avoid middlemen. For this reason, they have established the
process plants nea tor the cattle fields. If properly managed, even they can also venture
into other dairy products such as chocolates, cheese, butter etc.

2. Which socioeconomic features of South Asian societies can be
identified as the foundations for building sustainable supply chains?
In south Asian counties we usually notice there are two main socio economic factors
They are family traditions and cultural values and morals. We being Indians, Most all of
us have join families including myself Even south Asian countries have same
phenomenon. These countries have seriously food crisis and milk is the only main food
item which has all the nutrition other than vitamin C. It is also noticed that, milk and
milk products are consumed by all the families of these countries irrespective of caste,
creed and religion. Hence these factors be the reason for building sustainable supply
chains.
3. How can the existing distribution channels in the South Asian region
be transformed to maximize the value delivered to the customer?
As when we take the success concept of Amul in south Asian region We know that Milk is a
perishable product which is processed at the earliest. So this is the reason why I say the
company should establish its operations in the southern region. The processing plants must be
rife across the peninsular region. As the states of south India are famine hit and have no
major rivers flowing in the states like Tamil Nadu(has no specific big river,Telangana and AP
has only two major rivers Godavari and Krishna which flow only in certain parts of the state),
milk becomes essential commodity. In this way the value be increased to maximized.
4. How can such indigenously developed SCM models integrate with and
expand into global supply chains?
SCM models to be globalized depend on many factors We should know that any supply
chain depends on the demand of the product or good. For a BRAND to be globalized, it
should have a great public Intrest, that is, real and digital. A thorough out study about the
markets can give the intricacies of the products reach and demand. This can give an
estimation about the product and the affecting factors. Hence we came to know
psychologies of the society is very important for it to Go global.
