Context
Our community is a collection of pepople taking up law with mba. We are new to the course and
some of us having a hard time in the law school enviroment. Some of us would not be able to have good
recitation because they are not able to finish the case assignment and they tend to focus on the
provisions and readings on the explanation of the provisions. Provisions of the law is important but
cases are also important since it is the application of the law. Some of the professors would be
disappointed because they taught that those people who are not able to read the cases are not studying
properly. At some point, one of our professors walked out from our class because no one was able to
read a certain case which is a landmark case.
The main issue is that how we could be able to improve on our recitation grade and how to
make the reputation of our class better in the eyes of our professors. Another issue is that on how to
make each one of us to be able to cover all the readings whether is it is provisions or cases.
Action
The action I would like to propose is that our beadle would organize a digest pool for every law
subject that we take. Beadle is the person responsible in coordinating with the professors and the ones
who would take the readings assignments from the professors and then he/she would inform the
people who are in that class.
The rationale for this action is to improve our grades in every subject we take. It also help us to
be able to read some of the cases which could be very important in the future like it would show up
during our bar examinations. It would not only be positive on our academic part but it would also
improve our chemistry as class. It would be give positive effects in our relationship with each other
because we would be able to be help each other.
As I discussed in the earlier part is that it would not only improve our academic but it would also
give a chance for us to be closer as a class. Since we would be classmates for 5 years , it would be better
to have a good relationship between us and help one another to be able be successful in this program.
It is worth giving a shot to have a digest pool for our class.
The desired future is that all of us would be able to recite well in class so that the professors
would be able to have good flow of discussions because he/she knows that everyone in the class knows
what he is talking about. Another thing is that professors would not be dissappointed with us knowing
that each one of us is able to comply with the requirements that he is assigning to us.
The present situation in our class is that we read cases by ourselves and some people will only
be able to read part of it and not the whole case assisngmment. There is no digest pool for our class at
this moment.
The time schedule for this action is that we able to do it as soon as possible since the term
would be very fast because we are in a trimestral system. So I need to know if this research would be
able give positive feedbacks so that we would be able to know if we can use this action to be able to
improve our performance in law school.
One of the challenges is who is the one would lead the class in making the digest pool. Normally,
it should be the beadle since he is the one directly receiving the assigned readings for our classes and
have the contact numbers for every student in that class. Another challenge is that will the every one
person will agree in giving some time to be able to contribute in the digest pool becuase it would not be
effective if there are few persons involve in making the digest pool. It would eat a lot of time for few
persons to make the digest pool.

Research
The rationale for reaserching for this action is that I would like to have improvement not only in
my grades perse but also the benefit for our class. It would not be good if Im the only one who is
improving and it would be nice if all of us would improve as a whole.
The contribution that this research could make is that how to improve our pace in law school
and how to keep up with all the readings that are being assigned to us. It is intended to help people who
have no experience in law school be able to keep up with the case assigned cases and be able to enjoy
thier time in law school.
As it was mentioned earlier, it would not only help people who are directly involve in this
research because they could also apply this action in thier law school if these research would be able to
give positive results.
To ensure quality of this research is that I should not be biased. I should be able to talk to every
person in the class and will not choose who or who will not join the digest pool. I should not choose
persons who are really good in covering the assigned cases but I should include everyone so that I
would result in equality for our class.
Insider Action Research
I will give surveys to the people and let them answer questions. I will some space for suggestion
or comments on how they think we will be able to imrpove our perfomance.
The ethical challenge that I will face is that to keep medling with peoples affair and on how they
fare in law school. Another challenge is on how I will be able to convince the peolpe to spend some time
in doing the digest for the benefit of others well in fact they are already having great performance i n
our class.
