Chanderkhani Pass Trek
Chanderkhani Pass is one of the most beautiful and serene
pass, at an altitude of 3660 m/ 12000 ft located in the Kullu
valley. Chanderkhani Pass offers fabulous views of the Deo
Tibba peak, Pir Panjal and Parbati range of mountains.. The
popular trek route of Chandrakhani Pass involves a circular
route from Naggar to Chanderkhani Pass and back to Manali
via Malana. Malana village is a culture in itself where the old
ways are still adhered
The Inexplicable Lake of Roopkund
Roopkund is situated in Chamoli district of Garhwal, in the
lap of Trishuli massif. Deep virgin forests, gurgling rivulets,
breath-taking campsites and miles of surging meadows
gratify the soul of great adventure as he climbs 5029m from
the sea level. The lake is usually called the Mystery Lake,
since human skeletons and remains of horses from the
Paleolithic age are found here. This place is covered by
strewn glacier and snow clad peaks.
Sar Pass
Sar Pass is a moderately challenging trek in the
Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Situated at
an altitude of 14000 ft, Sar, in local dialect,
means a lake. While trekking, across the path
from Tila Lotni to Biskeri Ridge, one has to pass
by a small, (normally) frozen lake (Sar) and
hence the name Sar Pass Trek.
