Skin Installation:
1. Move the "amwyamj291208" folder and its contents to the skins folder of where
YAMJ has been installed to.
2. Either rename "amwyamj291208" to "default" or edit the last line of so that it says amwyamj291208 instead of default. In my
experience, this last line in the tends to change it back
to "default" -- so after changing this line and saving it, I would make the file
READ ONLY. To do this, right click on the file, click Properties, check Read-only,
click Apply, and OK.
3. I would recommend removing all previously generated files ("C:\Program
Files\myiHome\webapps\ROOT\feature\myiHome-moviejukebox" for myiHome users) and
regenerating them. For myiHome users, go to Edit > Preferences > Plugin >
Regenerate to regenerate all the files.
4. Remember to put your overscan values back in before regenerating.
5. If you set YAMJ to download Apple trailers, make sure to only set it to
download 1 trailer. This should save you time and bandwidth. Use this line in the file:
*Remember to get the developmental version of YAMJ, found here:
*Remember to put your overscan values back in.

Overscan Tool Installation:

1. Extract the contents.
2. Place all the files on a USB drive or anywhere you can access the index.html
file on the NMT.
3. Run the index.html file on the NMT and follow the on-screen directions to find
the values for your TV.

December 8, 2009 Update

With last week's announcement and less than 20 pages to go, I intend for this to
be the last major update. Unfortunately, still, this does not include some of the
major changes some of you were hoping for. I am truly sorry. It's sometimes
difficult to work on some things, especially with limited knowledge and time.
Hopefully this last major update will have addressed most of the issues. I've made
so many changes to LowList. I'll just dive into it. This screenshot shows the
majority of the changes.

1) *FEATURED* LowListOverlay=box in the skin-options.xsl will box

your posters based on the source. So if you don't want to, you don't have to box
them in the BoxCovers AddOn. However, the skin will still not automatically box
the thumbnails on the Wall. You'll still have to use the AddOn for that. You might
wonder why I even made this an option since you'll have to use the AddOn for the
thumbnails -- you might as well just use them for the posters too. Well, I
honestly couldn't answer this. It's still a feature. These box graphics are in the
html/pictures/boxes folder. Please read the _readme.txt in that folder if you
intend to change these graphics.

2) ShowFilesize=true in the skin-options.xsl will show a new tab

with the filesize in it.

3) ShowMultiAudio=true in the skin-options.xsl will show audio

language information in a new tab. I'll try to explain how this works, which is
the way I think it works best. If the movie has 1 or 2 audio tracks, you'll see,
for example, "[MultiAudio Icon]en/es". If it has 3 or more audio tracks, you'll
see, for example, "3[MultiAudio Icon]en/es/...". This lets you know that you have
more than 2 audio tracks, but will only show the 1st 2.

*Concerning these 2 new tabs. You'll have to start becoming choosy about what
information you want to show in these tabs. By default, you'll always have a
"WATCH" (or "WATCH | TRAILER") tab. You'll also have a MultiPart indicator if
there's multiple parts. There's also the year, runtime, and star rating. If you
turn on ShowFilesize, ShowMultiAudio, and number-rating, the skin will surely
break. The skin will break sooner if you set dim=false.

4) I've added a container flag. I've compiled a list of containers
supported by all NMTs, what's in the default mjb.extensions, and a few other
containers I've come across during the development of this skin. It came out to 31
container flags. It's not perfect because I don't know where YAMJ gets this
information. It's likely from MediaInfo. For example, Blu-ray movies (*.m2ts) will
show up as being in the "BDAV" container. I don't have a BDAV container flag, so
I've mapped it to the M2TS flag. It's not perfect, but it should work most of the

5) Concerning the flags, I've made a LowList flag options section
in the skin-options.xsl that allows you to turn off whatever flags you don't want.
You'll probably want to be choosy here too. I've noted that you should turn at
least one of these flags off. Otherwise, it'll break the skin. Something that most
of you should know already -- if you don't want a specific flag graphic to show up
(for example, the unknown "?" flag), you can just replace it with a copy of the
1x1.png file in the html/pictures folder.

6) *FEATURED* One of these LowList flag options are ShowStudioField.

Another variable that goes hand-in-hand with this is StudioDebug. What I've
essentially done is took the burden of studio flags off of me, and onto you.
Cruel, I know, but I'm not going to add 1200 studio flags to the skin. So if you
have ShowStudioField=true, a studio flag will only show up if you have a proper
flag file (with the proper flag name) in the html/pictures/studios folder. What
should this name be? Well, if you set StudioDebug=true, you'll see that it'll
replace the "DIRECTED BY" field with the filename it's looking for. In the
screenshot above, it's looking for "Warner Bros. Pictures.png" in the
html/pictures/studios folder. So find an appropriate flag, name it as such, and
put it into that folder.

6)a If you're "tech-savvy", I found a quick way to list all your studios.
I don't know if it's foolproof, but you can follow it here:

6)b Linked above is a one-time Flag Pack and Studio Pack. Unmonitored and
experimental, I've started an uploader site at . I
don't know how well this is going to run, but it's there. I ran a batch program to
create all 1,200 studio flags. They're all probably not perfect, but it should be
easy to make your own. I've also included the Photoshop Action file if you want to
try it yourself.

7) If you've set ForComputer=true, you can now have the option to use
playlists. You'll have to provide these playlists for you since YAMJ cannot make
these for your specific media player. You put the playlist in your output jukebox
folder, and you give it the same prefix as your movie, and the extension of the
playlist format. So if you want a playlist for, say, 300.[CD1].avi, you'll have to
make a playlist for it first for whatever media player you're using, then put that
playlist into the output jukebox folder, and name it 300.[CD1].pls (or whatever
extension it is). In this example, the extension is pls. So then you set
PlaylistExtension=pls in the skin-options.xsl. To the left of your "Part: 1
2", you'll see "WATCH", which links to your playlist.

8) I've added a slew of TVIDable buttons in the skin-options.xsl under
Open TVID Options. Please make sure to read the note surrounding it. For
example, by default, filter-left=red. If you want to link WallRedURL to your TV
shows page or something like that, then you have to make filter-left something
else or blank.

9) LowList and BeffaMod. I haven't added BeffaMod to the official RAR Pack
because it isn't a unique style. I don't mean to put a negative tone on that, but
it isn't as unique as SabishMod is to the tv-detail.xsl. However, using it is just
as easy. Download BeffaMod. There are 2 slightly different styles. The _readme.txt
has information and installation directions. Note that you must still set
LowList=true in the skin-options.xsl. On the same note, I've actually made LowList
it's own separate file, since it was popular enough and different enough from the
normal Full-Poster movie details style. So you can mod it however you like without
affecting Full-Poster mode.

10) I've done some some general maintenance in the skin-options.xsl and
major maintenance in the html/pictures folder. I've grouped things together.
Hopefully this will make modding easier. I've also renamed the flag files and put
them in html/pictures/flags. I think they should be easier to sort through now.

11) Some minor changes. 2.40:1 and 1.5:1 ARs should be recognized now;
I've also made the current ARs inclusive. TVPlaylist=true will no longer work for
ForComputer, since it shouldn't -- use the PlaylistExtension if you want playlists
in ForComputer. Removed the "FOR STANDALONE TV USERS" note in the
-- it should now use posters.height/width instead of thumbnails.height/width. Set
a hard limited for displayable genres to 2. Added a "NOT RATED" certificate. Set
plot line-height=21px so ForComputer will look more accurate. Noted that
PlotLength will not work if you're providing your own NFOs with line breaks. Added
more language options to the skin-options. Improved coikenMod. Added the D-THEATER
and WEBDL (iTunes) flags. TV function should detect the number of fileplots now
instead of just files -- MultiEpisode files. The "lines" files that were in the
"extras" folder are now in the "diy" folder. The extra flags that were in the
"extras" folder are now in the Flag Pack. Updated CinemaScope to C-200/Blu-ray

That's all for now. Again, this is probably going to be the last major update.
I'll likely have a final update on page 300, but I intend for that to just be a
clean-up update for some things I might have missed in this update. And once
again, I'm truly sorry if I was not able to put your requested feature in. It's
possible that I still may in the future, but I'm trying to move onto other things.
So until page 300 (or the 4500th post), business as usual.

As always, you can show your support by voting for the skin in the jukebox
shootout (linked at the top of the post), give the thread a high star rating (top
right of the page), and/or buy me some coffee (linked below). Thanks everyone, and
a preemptive "Happy Holidays" to everyone.
