Wisconsin, AMSOIL specializes in developing synthetic lubricants that offer innovative
answers to the greatest challenges vehicles and equipment face. In 1972, the breakthrough
came when AMSOIL introduced its 10W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil, the result of years of research
and inspired by aerospace technology that became the first synthetic motor oil in the world to
meet American Petroleum Institute service requirements. It outperformed conventional oils on
all counts, signaling a new age in lubrication science.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vice President, Dealer Sales and Service of will focus on increasing sales and market
share through the AMSOIL Independent Dealer network. This position will lead, and have
responsibility for, the development and implementation of all Dealer programs, sales and
service. Key areas of responsibility include: Dealer Training; Marketing Plan and Dealer
Account administration (Dealer policies, regulations, recognition and payments); product
ordering and Customer Service and the activities of the Regional and Field Sales force.

The VP, Dealer Sales and Service will have a staff of three, helping direct a workforce of an
additional 31 employees. The staff includes a Director of Dealer Sales, Director of Customer
Service and Project Manager-Dealer Development.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development, implementation and execution of all Dealer sales activities,
incentive compensation, recognition, training, policies and practices.
Lead the development, implementation and execution of all Customer Service initiatives
(to include Telephone Ordering, Sales Administration, and Marketing Plan activities) in
support of Dealers goals and activities.
Work in conjunction with the VP, Marketing and Communications to ensure all Dealer
communications and publications support sales plans and objectives.

Lead the Dealers and the Customer Service, Dealer Sales and Field Sales teams through
positive organizational changes.
Build, develop, and manage the Sales and Service teams as well as develop and ensure
adherence to goals and deadlines.
Coordinate and establish enhanced links with other company departments, notably IT,
Technical Development, Distribution, and Accounting.


QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess a bachelors degree or equivalent and ten-plus years
of related experience in sales, ideally in a manufacturing or distributing industry. The
candidate will have extensive experience managing a sales group, including the creation of
sales, incentive, recognition and service programs. Experience working with a commissioned
sales force is considered a plus. It is vital that the VP, Dealer Sales and Service have a
history of proven business acumen, be considered a strategic thinker, have the ability to
analyze information and data in order to make sound decisions and have a progressive work
history of driving positive results. This individual must also have the ability to work
collaboratively with peers and throughout an organization as this key position requires the
ability to communicate effectively on complex topics to employee groups and management at
all levels of the company, and engage in public speaking.


COMPENSATION

The compensation for this position is highly competitive and consists of a base salary,
management bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits program.
