FOR USE
- The installation and use of
the equipment, either partial
or total, is restricted to ex-
pressly authorized personnel
only.
- It is obligatory to earth the
metal frame of the equip-
ment.
- It is forbidden to use the
equipment in ways other than
those specifed.

- Read the warning and haz-
ard notices on the machine
carefully.
- It is forbidden to remove the
warning and hazard notices
from the machine.
- It is forbidden to carry out
maintenance, make repairs,
modifications or take any
measures not strictly neces-
sary for the work cycle when
the equipment is running.
First of all, it is necessary to
disconnect all power supplies
to the machine.
- It is forbidden to remove the
guards and safety devices
from the machine.
- It is forbidden to start work
with the guards open, or to
open them during the work
cycle.
N.B.: Clean the screw regu-
larly with water. The inter-
vals are established by the
user as they mainly depend
on the product handled, as
well as on the application.
Trough and seals must
be cleaned with particular
care. Prior to use of clean-
ing products check with
customer service.

schilder aufmerksam lesen.
- Das Entfernen der Warn-
und Gefahrenschilder von der
Maschine ist verboten.
- Die Durchfhrung von War-
tungsarbeiten, Reparaturen,
nderungen und anderen fr
den Arbeitszyklus bei laufen-
der Maschine nicht unbedingt
notwendigen Arbeiten ist
verboten. Vor jedem Eingriff
ist unbedingt die elektrische
Versorgung der Maschine zu
unterbrechen.
- Die Entfernung der auf
der Maschine angebrachten
Schutz und Sicherheitsvor-
richtungen ist verboten.
- Arbeitsbeginn mit offenen
Schutzvorrichtungen oder
deren ffnen whrend des
Betriebs ist verboten.

stnden Schnecke mit Was-
ser reinigen. Die Hufgkeit

HANDLING
Always lift and handle the machine using the eye bolts provided for the pur-
pose. The lifting systems used must be suitable for the mass and dimensions
of the machine, and the movements to be made. Hook the lifting eye bolts
by means of shackles or hooks with safety fasteners. Do not use clamps,
rings, open hooks or other systems that do not guarantee the same safety
as shackles or hooks with safety fasteners.
HANDLING
Die Maschine nur mittels der vorgesehenen Lastaufnah-mepunkte heben
und han-deln. Zum Gewicht, den Ab-messungen und den Bewegungen
passendes Hebe-zeug verwenden. Das Befe-stigen der Maschine an den
Anschlagstellen nur mittels Schkeln oder Haken mit Sicherheitsverschlu
vornehmen. Die Verwendung von Klammern, Ringen, offenen Haken oder

MANUTENTION

Before proceeding with the assembly, check that the code numbers on each
details match. Put in the seals. Remove packing from gear motor.Before lif-
ting the entirely preassembled screw conveyor from the ground, once again
tighten all nuts and bolts. During installation or main tenance use only
approved hoisting equipment. During each phase of in stallation always
handle the screw conveyor using appropriate hoisting equipment fxed
appropriately.

Ci valida per 400, 1000 e 2000. Per 3400 e 4000 la tramoggia spedetta
esclusivamente.
Fornitura: Il DS pu essere fornito in un pezzo unico, salvo venga richiesta la tramoggia smontata.

N.B.: Grit Separator models DS400 and 3400 - 4000 have a structure
which provides for different means of anchoring to the ground; in case
of mod. DS400 an adjustable support foot is used; mod. DS3400 and
4000, have an additional supporting frame in the front part of the hopper,
because of the large size. The Figures showing the fxing layouts of the
various grit separator models are given on the following pages.

b) The machine is supplied already completely assembled; therefore, it only needs to be positioned and anchored to the
supporting surface as described earlier, by means of expansion bolts or similar devices. The machine must be anchored
frmly and safely; it is necessary to use anchoring bolts of the specifed size for the purpose. The installation with the
suitable support, anchoring and connection systems must be carried out by the user in compliance with the relevant
safety norms.
b) Die Maschine ist bereits fertig montiert und braucht demnach nur noch aufgestellt und an der Stellfche so wie oben
beschrieben befestigt zu werden. Dazu Spreizdbel oder hnliches verwenden. Die Befestigung mu fest und sicher sein,
daher nur Befesti-gungsdbel der entspre-chenden Gre verwenden. Die installation mit den passenden untersttzern,

ERECTION
Lift the machine from the reducer side using the special eyes. Position the
support foot and fx it to the trough. Block the machine on the ground.
DISASSEMBLY
Before disassembling the drive unit or the end bearing assemblies of the
conveyor make sure that the screw cannot slide out and fall down. To do this,
open the cover and/or any inspection hatch and insert a plank ensuring the
plank frmly locks in. The drive unit may now be disassembled.
IMPORTANT!
Before opening the cover and/or inspection hatches, make sure that
the power supply has been disconnected.
AUFSTELLUNG
Das Gert auf der Getrie-beseite mittels der speziell hierfr vorgesehenen
Trans-portsen anheben. Sttzfu positionieren und am Trog befestigen.
Gert am Boden blockieren.
DEMONTAGE
Vor der etwaigen Demontage der Antriebseinheit oder der Endlagereinheit
sicherstellen, da die Wendel nicht herausrutschen und herunterfallen kann.
Dazu die Trogabdeckungen und/oder die etwaigen Inspektionsklappen ffnen,
um dann einen Holzbalken einzufhren und anschlieend zu verkanten. Erst
dann darf die Antriebseinheit ausgebaut werden.
ACHTUNG!
Vor dem ffnen des Deckels und/oder der Inspektionsklappen sicher-
stellen, da die Stromversorgung zum Elektromotor unterbrochen
ist.
ERECTION DE LA MACHINE
Elever la machine de la ct du rducteur au moyen des oeillets placs cet
effet. Positionner le pied de support et le fxer lauge. Bloquer la machine
par terre.
DEMONTAGE
Avant de dmonter le motorducteur ou le support palier dextrmit de la
vis sassurer que la spire ne peut pas sortir ni tomber. Il faut pour cela ou-
vrir le couvercle et/ou les trappes de visite, enfler et ensuite encastrer une
planche en bois. Seulement dans cette condition il est possible de dmonter
le motorducteur.
ATTENTION!
Avant douvrir le couvercle ou les trappes de visite sassurer que le
moteur lectrique est hors tension.
EREZIONE MACCHINA
Sollevare la macchina dal lato del riduttore mediante gli appositi golfari.
Posizionare il piede di sostegno e fssarlo al truogolo. Bloccare la macchina
a terra.
SMONTAGGIO
Prima di un eventuale smontaggio della testata motrice o della testata dalla
coclea, assicurarsi che la spira non possa sflarsi e cadere verso il basso. A
questo scopo occorre aprire il coperchio e/o gli eventuali boccaporti dispe-
zione, inflare e successivamente incastrare unasse di legno. Soltanto ora
pu essere smontata la testata motrice.
ATTENZIONE!
Prima di aprire il coperchio c/o gli eventuali boccaporti, assicurarsi che
lalimentazione di corrente al motore elettrico sia staccata.

Prfung des Isolationswi-
derstandes
Vor der Inbetriebnahme, bzw.
immer dann, wenn Hinweise
auf erhhte Feuchtig-keit
vorliegen, ist der Iso-lations-
widerstand zu prfen.
Der Widerstand - gemessen
bei 25C mit einem isolation-
prfer (500V DC) - soll den
nachfolgend genanntenBe-
zugswert bersteigen:

WARNUNG
Un die Gefahr eines elektri-
schen Schlages auszuschlie-
en, sind die Wicklungen un-
mittelbar nach der Messung
zu entladen.
(Fr erhhte Umgebungstem-
peraturen ist der angegebene
Bezugswert des Iso-lations-
widerstandes fr jeweils 20C
zu halbieren).
Wenn der Bezugswert nicht
erreicht wird, ist die Feuchte
innerhalb der Wicklung zu
gro und eine Trocknung
erforderlich.
Fr 12 - 16 Stunden sollte
dabei eine Ofentempera-
tur von 90C eingehalten
werden, gefolgt von einer
Schlutrocknung bei 105C
fr 6 - 8 Stunden.
Etwa vorhandene Verschlu-
stopfen von Entwsserungs-
ffnungen sind whrend der
Wrmebehandlung zu ent-
fernen.
Wicklungen, die mit Salzwas-
ser getrnkt sind, mssen
erneuert werden.

I tappi dei fori di scarico con-
densa devono essere rimossi
durante lessiccamento.
Avvolgimenti che siano rima-
sti immersi in acqua di mare
normalmente devono essere
rifatti.

Direct-on-line or Star/Delta
starting
The terminal box on stand-
ard single speed machines
normally contains 6 winding
terminals and at least one
earth terminal.
Earthing shall be carried out
according to local regula-
tions before the machine
is connected to the supply
voltage.
The voltage and connection
are stamped on the rating
plate.

from the terminal block. For
two-speed and special ma-
chines, supply connection
must follow the instructions

wise when viewing the shaft
face at the machine drive
end, when the line phase
sequence L1, L2, L3 is con-
nected to the terminals as
shown in the fgure 1.
To alter the direction of rota-
tion, interchange the connec-
tion of any two lines cables.

Nellavviamento diretto il mo-
tore pu essere utilizzato sia
con collegamento a stella che
a triangolo ( naturalmente con
tensioni diverse). Per esempio
660 VY, 380Y indica che il
motore pu essere collegato a
stella per 660V ed a triangolo
per 380V.

Le tensioni di linea devono
essere uguale alla tensione
nominale del motore in colle-
gamento a triangolo.
Togliere tutte le piastrine di
collegamento dai terminali.
Per collegamento di motori a
doppia velocit, motori spe-
ciali e monofase, seguire le
istruzioni riportate allinterno
della scatola morsetti.
Terminali e senso di rota-
zione
Il senso di rotazione orario
visto dal lato comando quando
la sequenza di fase L1, L2, L3
collegata ai terminali come
indicato nella fgura 1.
Per invertire la direzione di
rotazione, scambiare tra loro
i collegamenti di due termianli
qualsiasi.

Connection
The normal motor design is
with terminal box on top and
with cable entry possibilities
from both sides.
Some motors are available,
asspecial solutions, with top
mounted terminal boxes ro-
tatable 4 x 90, and some with
side mounted terminal boxes.
Availability of these solutions
is described in the product
catalogues. Unused cable
entries must be closed.
Besides the main winding
and earthing terminals the
terminal box can also contain
connections for thermistors,
standstill heating elements,
bimetallic switches,or PT 100
resistance elements.
WARNING
Voltage may be connected at
standstill inside the terminal
box for heating elements or
direct winiding heating.
Connection diagrams for aux-
iliary elements are found in-
side the terminal box cover.
WARNING
The capacitor in single-phase
motors can retain a charge
which appears across the
motor terminals, even when
the motor has reached stand-
still.
Assembly and disman-
tling
Bearings
Special care shall be taken
with the bearings. Bearigs
shall be removed using pull-
ers and ftted by heating or
the use of specialized feet for
the purpose. Change of bear-
ings is described in detail in
a separate instruction leafet
available from WAM.

Neben den Anschlssen fr
die Hauptwicklung und den
Erdungsklemmen kann der
Klemmenkasten weitere An-
schlumglichkeiten z.B. fr
Thermistoren, Stillstandsbe-
heizung, Bimetall-schalter
oder PT100-Wider-stands-
fhler enthalten.

Auch bei Stillstand des Motors
knnen gefhrliche Spannun-
gen fr die Versorgung von

WARNUNG
Bei Einphasenmotoren kann
die Restladung des Konden-
sators auch beim Stillstand

Montage und Demontage
Lager
Die Lager sind mit besonde-
rer Sorgfalt zu behandeln.
Die Lager drfen nur mit Hilfe
von Ausziehwerkzeugen de-
montiert und in erwrmtem
Zustand oder unter Verwen-
dung von Spezialwerkzeug
eingebaut werden, Der La-
geraustausch ist in dem ent-
sprechenden WAM-Kata-log
beschrieben.
Collegamento
I motori in versione standard
hanno la scatola morsetti
situata sulla sommit del
motore, con ingresso cavi su
entrambi i lati.
Alcuni motori possono esse-
re forniti, in alternativa, con
la scatola morsetti montata
sulla sommit del motore
orientabile di 90 in 90 gradi
oppure con la scatola mor-
setti montata leteralmente. La

sul catalogo di prodotto. Gli
ingressi cavi non utilizzati
devono essere chiusi.
Oltre ai terminali dellavvol-
gimento e di terra, la scatola

Durante le fermate, allinterno

Cuscinetti
I cuscinetti abbisognano di
cure speciali. Devono essere
smontati con luso di estrat-
tori e montati a caldo con
luso di strumenti adatti. La
sostituzione dei cuscinetti
descritta in dettaglio su istru-
zioni separate da richiedere
a WAM.

Before defnitive start-up of
the machine, check to ensure
that installation and connec-
tion to external supplies have
been carried out completely
and correctly.
1) Read the USE and MAIN-
TENANCE manual com-
pletely.
2) Ensure that the machine
is anchored frmly to the
ground.
3) Ensure that the cleaning
water delivery functions
properly.
4) Check the power supply con-
nections to ensure they are
correct and make sure that
the box containing the con-
nections is closed perfectly.
5) Before feeding in mate-
rial, start the empty screw
conveyor and let it run for
approx. two minutes.
6) Check protections at outlet
are present.
7)Check if foreign substances
or water have entered the
conveyor housing. If so,
remove trough cover and
clean. Afterwards, replace
cover.

oder Wasser ins Schnek-
keninnere eingedrungen
sind. Ist dies der Fall, die
ITrogabdeckung entfernen
und Fremdkrper entfernen
bzw. Wasser ablaufen las-
sen und bestmglich reini-
gen. Anschlieend Trogab-
deckung wieder montieren.
Die Schnecke in leerem Zu-
stand fr ca. zwei Minuten in
Betrieb nehmen. Wenn sie
problemfrei luft, Material zu-
geben und regulren Betrieb
aufnehmen.

la vis. Dans ce cas enlever
le couvercle et la nettoyer.
La premi re preuve de
dmarrage doit tre effectue

environ. Si tout fonctionne
rgulirement, alimenter-la
avec du matriau et procder
normalement.

nessione delle alimentazioni
elettriche e la perfetta chiu-
sura delle scatole contenenti
le connessioni stesse.
5) Verifcare il corretto senso
di rotazione della coclea.
6) Verifcare che siano state
installate le protezioni alla
zona di scarico .
7)Veri fi care se sostanze
esterne o acqua sono en-
trate allinterno della co-
clea. Se cosi fosse, togliere
leventuale coperchio e
pulire. Dopo, rimontare il
tutto.
La prima prova di avvia-
mento deve essere fatta a
coclea vuota per non oltre
due minuti. Se tutto funziona
regolarmente, alimentare
con il materiale e procedere
normalmente.

OPERATION
According to the type of plant, operation is con trolled either by a remote
control panel in the main control room or by a local starter.
In general the screw must stop when it has lifted the sand from the water
inside the hopper. After being started the screw must shape a material bed
which deposits in between the bottom bars.
BETRIEB
Je nach Anlagentyp wird die Schnecke ber eine zentrale Steuerung oder einen
Vor-Ort Schaltschrank in Betrieb genommen.
Im allgemeinen mu die Schnecke stehen bleiben, wenn sie den im Trichter
befndlichen Sand aus dem Wasser ausgetragen hat. Beim erneuten Ein-
schalten der Schnecke mu diese ein Materialbett schaffen, wel-ches sich
in den Zwischen-rumen zwischen den Bo-den-Schleileisten absetzt.
FONCTIONNEMENT

CHECKING AND TESTING
AT USERS PREMISES
To ensure that the machine
has not been damaged during
transport or installation, carry out
the following checks carefully:
Machine NOT in opera-
tion:
- Ensure that the warning and
hazard notices are present on
the machine and that they are
in good condition.
Machine IN operation:
- Ensure that all the guards
and safety devices of the ma-
chine are intact and in perfect
working condition.
- Check the temperature of the
various components when the
machine is running. These must
not be heated excessively;
- Let the machine run empty
for a few minutes (2 min.
maximum) without material
inside to check the correct
functioning of each compo-
nent.
It is advisable to program
maintenance operations in-
stead of acting in the event
of an emergency, both for
economic reasons and as
regards convenience, so as
to eliminate risk of possible
stops during periods of maxi-
mum production.
PERIODIC CHECKS
Failure to follow the mainte-
nance instructions may cause
problems and could invalidate
the guarantee.
Once every month, check to
see if inlet or outlet are free of
crusts. if not, clean in order to
avoid blockages. Check the
state of wear of the liner and
the seals.

prfen. Diese drfen sich nicht
bermig stark erhitzen.
- Die Maschine maximal
2 Minuten ohne Zugabe
von Material laufen lassen
und dabei alle Bestandteile
auf ihre korrekte Funktion
prfen.
Ei ne Programmati on der
Wartung ist empfehlenswert,
anstatt im Notfall eingreifen
zu mssen. Produktions-
ausfallzeiten lassen sich so
minimieren.

chine vide pendant quelques
minutes (au maxi 2) sans
produit lintrieur pour vrifer
le fonctionnement correct de
chaque composant.
Il convient de programmer r-
gulirement les interven-tions
au lieu dintervenir en condi-
tions dmergence, tant pour
des raisons conomiques que
de commodit dintervention,
afn dliminer les arrts poten-
tiels pendant les priodes de
production maximale.

Per assicurarsi che la mac-
china durante il trasporto
e linstallazione non abbia
subito danni, eseguire con
scrupolo i seguenti controlli:
Macchina NON funzionan-
te:
- Verifcare la presenza e la
integrit delle targhe di peri-
colo e di avvertenza.
Macchina IN funzione:
- Controllare l effcienza e la
integrit di tutte le protezioni
e dei dispositivi di sicurezza.
- Controllare la temperatura
di regime dei vari componen-
ti. Non devono riscaldarsi in
modo eccessivo;
- Lasciare funzionare a vuoto la
macchina per alcuni minuti (2
max) senza materiale all interno
per verifcare il corretto funzio-
namento di ogni componente.
E sempre preferibile program-
mare periodicamente gli inter-
venti anzich dovere intervenire
in condizioni di emergenza, que-
sto sia per ragioni economiche
che di comodit di intervento,
cos da eliminare potenziali arre-
sti durante i periodi di massima
produzione.
CONTROLLI PERIODICI
Il non attenersi strettamente
alle seguenti istruzioni pu
causare problemi ed invalida-
re la garanzia sulle macchine
fornite.
Ogni mese, verificare se
il carico e lo scarico sono
liberi da residui di materia-
le; se non lo fosse, ripulire
accurata mente per evitare
ogni ostruzione al passaggio
di materiale. Verifcare lo sta-
to di usura del rivestimento e
delle tenute.

razioni da eseguire sono le
stesse anche per protezioni
e rivestimenti diversi.

The machine normally cleans itself during opera-tion. However, it is advisa-
ble to clean it periodically to remove persistent residues that may give rise
to unhygienic odours. Cleaning of the discharge zones is simply done with
water from the tap. Disconnect machine from mains. Open the cover and
direct the water jet on the area to be cleaned.
In der Regel reinigt sich die Maschine whrend des Betriebs selbst. Es em-
pfehlt sich trotzdem eine regelmige Reinigung, um Reste zu entfernen,
die sonst zu unhy-gienischer Geruchsentwick-lung fhren knnen. Das
Reinigung des Auslaufbereichs mittels unter Wasserschlauch vornehmen.
Elek-troanschlu abklemmen. Deckel ffnen und den Wasserschlauch auf
die zu reinigenden Stel-len halten.
Normalement la machine sautonettoie pendant le fonctionnement. Il est
conseill de la nettoyer rgulirement pour liminer les rsidus qui pourraient

est excut simple-ment avec de leau pres-sion. Dtacher lalimenta-tion
lectrique, ouvrir le couvercle et diriger le jet deau sur les zones netto-
yer.
Normalmente la macchina si autopulisce durante il funzionamento; consi-
gliata comunque una pulizia periodica per eliminare residui che permanendo
creano odori non igienici. La pulizia della zona di scarico si esegue sempli-
cemente con acqua a pressione; staccare lalimentazione elettrica, aprire il
coperchio e indirizzare il getto di acqua sulle zone da pulire.

the two bolts locking the screw to the drive fange, using a special elbow
wrench.

eines Winkelschlssels losschrauben.

Dvisser les 2 vis de serrage de lhlice la bride motrice, au moyen
dune cl coude prvue cet effet.
1) Togliere lalimentazione al motore elettrico - Rimuovere i coperchi - Svitare
le 2 viti di serraggio dellelica alla fangia motrice, mediante apposita
chiave angolare.
2) Extract screw from trough. Fit replacement screw in trough.

Trog einlegen.

3) Align the two fanges taking care to ensure no material is trapped in
between. Tighten the fxing screw.

1) Disconnect motor from mains supply. Remove the safety cover on
the locking bolt of the drive shaft.
1) Stromzufuhr zum Motor unterbrechen. Den Schutzdeckel der Sperr-
schraube der Antriebswelle entfernen.
1) Couper lalimentation au moteur lectrique. Dposer le couvercle de
protection de la vis de blocage de larbre dentranement.
1) Togliere lalimentazione al motore elettrico - Rimuovere coperchio di
rpotezione della vite di bloccaggio dellalbero di trasmissione.
2) Unscrew the drive shaft locking screw.
2) Die Sperrschraube der Antriebswelle losdrehen.
2) Dvisser la vis de blocage de larbre dentranement.
2) Svitare vite di bloccaggio albero di trasmissione.
3) Unscrew the screws connecting the gear motor to the outlet module,
fx the new gear motor on the outlet module plate and repeat the ope-
rations in reverse order to restore operation.
3) Die Verbindungsschrauben des Getriebemotors am Auslaufmodul lsen,
das neue Untersetzungsgetriebe auf der Platte des Auslaufmoduls
befestigen und dann in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge vorgehen, um
den Betrieb wieder aufzunehmen.
3) Dvisser les vis de liaison du motorducteur au module de dchar-
gement, fxer le nouveau rducteur sur la plaque du module de
dchargement et effectuer les oprations inverses pour rtablir le
fonctionnement.
3) Svitare le viti di collegamento del motoriduttore al modulo di scarico,
fssare nuovo riduttore sulla piastra del modulo di scarico e procedere
in senso inverso per ripristinare il funzionamento.

3) Remove the plates. Fit the new sliding plates.

4) Reft the fxing screws. Grease the plates. Reinstall the screw as described

4) Revisser les vis de fxation. Graisser les plats. Remettre la spire en place
en suivant la procdure de remplace-ment de celle-ci.
4) Riavvitare viti di fssaggio. Ingrassare i piatti. Reinstallare lelica secondo
la procedura della sostituzione della stessa.

Gear reduction unit is sup-
plied with a frst oil flling and
are equipped with oil level,
outlet and breather plugs.
The lubricant used is of the
long-life type and does not
require changing.

lstand-, eine Ablasowie
eine Entlftungsschraube.
Es wird ein Schmierstoff mit
langer Haltbarkeit verwendet,
der nicht zu ersetzen ist.

ensure they are tightened

The machines are provided with PROTECTION GATES in the areas accesible
for cleaning, check and maintenance operations. The unloading mouth cannot
be closed for obvious functional reasons. The rotating spiral can be reach trought
the mouth:
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO INTRODUCE ANYTHING - HANDS,
OBJECT - INTO THE UNLOADING MOUTH.
PROTECTION AND BARRIER DEVICES SHALL BE BUILT AND PROVIDED
BY THE INSTALLER.
The outlet spout of the DS cannot be closed using covers or other devices to
prevent solids coming out of the machine, and is therefore a source of potential
risk since moving parts can be easily accessed; the DS installer or user is re-
sponsible for providing suitable warning notices and barriers.
Die Maschinen sind mit SCHUTZVERSCHLSSEN in den Bereichen verse-
chen, wo der Zugang fr Reinigung, Kontrolle und Wartung erforderlich ist. Die
ENTLADUNGSFFNUNG kann aus naheliegenden Funktionsgrnden nicht
geschlossen werden. Durch die ffnung kann die rotierende Spirale erreicht

Da der Auslauf des DS nicht mit Deckeln oder anderen Einrichtungen gesch-
lossen werden kann, die den Austritt der Feststoffe verhindern wrden, stellt er
eine potentielle Gefahrenquelle dar, weil er den Zugriff zu beweglichen Teilen
ermglicht. Aus diesem Grund ist der Installateur oder der Betreiber des DS
dafr verantwortlich, den Gefahrenbereich mit angemessenen Schildern zu
kennzeichnen und den Zugang zu dem Bereich mit angemessenen Systemen
zu verhindern.

La bouche de dchargement du DS, ne pouvant pas tre ferme par des cou-
vercles ou autres dispositifs qui gnent la sortie des solides, reprsente un
danger potentiel car elle permet laccs aux parties en mouvement; pour cette
raison linstallateur ou lutilisateur du DS doit signaler la zone par un panneau
signaltique appropri et ventuellement interdire la zone avec des systmes
adquats.
Le macchine sono dotate di CHIUSURE DI PROTEZIONE nelle zone ove sia
necessario accedere per pulizia, controllo e manutenzione. La bocca di carico
non pu, per ovvi motovi funzionali, essere chiusa. Attraverso la bocca si pu
raggiungere la spirale rotante, per questo motivo:

La bocca di scarico del DS, non potendo essere chiusa con coperchi o altri dispositivi che ostacolino la fuoriuscita dei solidi,
rappresenta un potenziale pericolo in quanto consente laccesso a parti in movimento; per questo sar cura dellinstallatore
o dellutilizzatore del DS evidenziare la zona con opportuna cartellonistica ed eventualmente interdire laccesso alla zona
con opportuni sistemi.

Noise level depends on sev-
eral factors among which
screw dimensions, type of
material handled and box
load.

The DS noise level, however,
is never higher than 80
dB(A). This value was meas-
ured from one metre distance
in the most unfavourable
position.

coeffcente di riempimento .
Il rumore di DS comunque

In caso di rottamazione o
demolizione a fne vita del-
la macchina, avere cura di
smontare le parti in materiale
plastico e destinarle agli ap-
positi centri di raccolta.
Le restanti parti sono da
destinare al recupero dei
materiali ferrosi.
Durante le fasi di sman-
tellamento della macchina
osservare le procedure di
sollevamento come indicato
nel foglio specifco.
Recuperare l olio riduttore
e consegnarlo ai centri di
raccolta.
In caso di demolizione con-
siderare la diversifcazione
della qualit dei materiali:
A) materiali ferrosi;
B) materiali plastici;
C) olio.

or demolition at the end of
its life, dismantle the plastic
parts and send these to spe-
cial collection centres.
The other parts must be sent
for recycling iron scrap.
While dismantling the ma-
chine, observe the lifting
procedures described in the
relevant sheet.
Collect the gear unit oil and
send it to special collection
centres.
While scrapping the machine
remember to separate the dif-
ferent kinds of materials:
A) iron;
B) plastic materials;
C) oil.

knocks during transport.
Make sure the machine does
not contain residue inside the
hopper and outlet spout.

Bei der Rckgabe der Ma-
schine ist diese in die Ori-
ginalverpackung zu stellen,
wenn diese noch vorhanden
ist. Ansonsten die Maschi-
ne auf eine Palette stellen
und sie mit Folie schtzen,

wie mglich gegen Ste
whrend des Transports zu
schtzen.
Auf jeden Fall sicherstellen,
dass die Maschine keine
Materialrckstnde mehr in-
nerhalb des Trichters und des
Auslaufstutzens aufweist.
RESTITUTION MACHINE
En cas de restitution de la
machine si lemballage dori-
gine a t conserv, la remet-
tre dans celui-ci, sinon la fxer
sur une palette en la prot-
geant avec un nylon thermo-
rtractable de la meilleure
faon possible contre les
possibilits de chocs pendant
le transport.
Dans tous les cas vrifier
quil ny a pas de rsidus de
matire dans la machine
lintrieur de la trmie et du
tronon de dchargement.
RESO MACCHINA
In caso di reso della mac-
china, se si conservato l
imballo reinserirla nello stes-
so, altrimenti fssarla su di un
pallet e avvolgerla con del
nylon termoretraibile, cercan-
do di proteggerla al meglio
da eventuali urti derivanti dal
trasporto.
In ogni caso assicurarsi che
la macchina non abbia residui
di materiale allinterno della
tramoggia e del tronchetto
di scarico.

FOR LONG PERIODS
Avoid salty, damp environ-
ments. If this is not possible,
cover the machine with heat-
insulating foil.
For periods of disuse, clean
all parts carefully.
Arrange the equipment on
a wooden pallet and store it
away from inclement weather
conditions.
Before installing the ma-
chine, check the electrical
and pneumatic system.
- Fill the gear reducer com-
pletely with oil.
- Carefully clean the charge
areas.
N.B.: While re-assembling
the machine, restore the oil
level in the gear reducer.

Wo anwendbar wurden die Anforderungen folgender EG Richtlinien erfllt
