Role of Information Technology in the success of Business

Information technology is a modern technique that has amazingly changed the daily lives of every individuals and
businesses all over the world. Information technology is travelled by the microchip, which is owned by an individual to
the semi-conductor. IT solutions run from personal computers and computer software to production robotics to
communications technology. Using information technology for business success is the key to successful survival in today
business world. Information technology has grown to facilitate the business world, helping the companies to make and
market their products in a successful way, as well as how people communicate and accomplish their jobs in modern
organizations. There are some specialized softwares which are designed to help employees to do their job more easily
and to accomplish the organizational goals faster. (Ingram, 2013)
Information technology has a great impact in all aspects of everyday life and world economy is currently facing the
transformation. Information technology has great impact in most of industries and in all aspects of economy, while
businesses and enterprises continue to undergo considerable changes. Usage of these technologies is changing the rules of
business, resulting a big change in structural transformation of companies. Modern businesses are not possible without
help of information technology, which is having a big impact on the working of Small and Medium Sized Organizations
and it is claimed to be compulsory for the growth of economies. (Berisha-Namani, 2009)

Advocates of Business Process (BP) argue that the real value of Information Technology is that it shows latest changes in
business operations. Expect the fact that many Business Process and Information Technology academics agree on this
idea, BP and IT design are having their own separate functions. Moreover, there is very little research that is concerned
with studying the ways in which IT supports BP. The results of this project show that defining the dynamic role of IT
could be very useful for Business Process modelers in expecting the impact that the involvement of IT may have on
organizational processes. (Et al, 2010)

Expect the type of business, the level of technological progress in their products or services, and their national origin,
most organizations drag along Taylor logic with their organization. They tend to divide the processes into tasks, putting
specialized people in specific tasks and making a division of ranking based on their specialization level. Therefore, they
are designed for following the Adam Smith theory of labor division. The bigger the organization, the more specialized the
work and the more steps for the work to be divide. Because of this, tasks are being divided more and more. (OLALLA,
2010)

Information technology creates an electric storage system to protect your company's most important records. According to
the Graziadio Business Report, published by Pepperdine University, the information technology secure maintenance of
customer to business integrity. Storage systems, such as online vaults, cloud storage, keep information safe by only giving
permission to specific users of your company to access, withdraw, add or change the documents. According to an article
in Science Daily, IT security engineering systems protect your electronic information from being theft, or lost out during a
technological problem. Electronic security engineering means your valuable records will remain safe and sound.
